The Debate Thread!  Anything except politics and religion allowed here (though that could change).  So, I know Oregano and Ima and maybe more people seemed interested in debate. List subjects you would like to talk about.

I'm always up for a good debate.  I'll do any subject... I once had a debate with my friends about the purpose of one door in my school.

I'd be interested in a debate.  We'll just have to remember to be respectful of each other's beliefs and not take things too far, i.e. caps, bold, yelling, etc.  So what's the topic of the debate?

I would like a debate as long as I would actually be allowed to defend my opinion not just state it.

I really don't know a good topic.

I'd be interested! I like debates that don't have any yelling or saying mean things, but I also like to state AND defend my beliefs, just in a kind way, if you know what I mean.

Hmmm, a topic of discussion. What about a debate about something in this month's cricket mag, seeing as this is TM?

I'd like to join! But if the debate is about this month's mag, then I won't be able to debate, since I don't get Cricket anymore...

Actually, I don't get Cricket anymore either, but those who do can still debate about it.  Other possible topics could be:

 

~vegetarianism/veganism/carnivorism

~school/homeschool/cyberschool

~pink octupi/purple and blue polka dot octupi (what? not interested?)

I know I've mentioned feminism previously, but.  Here it is again.  Though for a true "debate"  we would want people on both sides.  Any feminists out there?

I've always considered myself quite feminist, but I suppose it depends on what you mean by the word.

How about a political debate?  We could debate about the president, about Afganistan, about stuff like that. 

Oh! We could debate whether or not to withdraw troops from Afganistan or not!!!!!  How about that?

Does anybody like that idea?  One wouldn't need to get Cricket to do it!
