Chatterbox: In This Month's Issue

I WON! EEEEEEEEE...*squea

I WON! EEEEEEEEE...*squeals with excitement* I WON I WON I WON!!!

OK, maybe you guys deserve a bit more of an explanation, so, here goes...

A few months back Cricket was having a contest to write a poem in 24 lines or less about something that was beautiful or powerful in nature. I undertook it with my poem, Thunderstorm Orchestra, and...WON! Second prize, which wasn't as great as my first prize with Sheep Rescue, but I don't care. :) It's so cool to be published that I wouldn't mind if it was honorable mention! :D

Well, that's all I had to say, so...g'bye!

Congratulations, Wolfgirl! We're impressed with the quality of the entries we receive for each Cricket League contest. To win any prize, even Honorable Mention, is indeed a great honor.

CONGRATS! I keep sending my things in. Some don't seem that great but one poem (which I thought was really good) I don't even know if it got here actually. I had high hopes for it. I hope that Cricket will have another art contest soon... Wolfgirl67, what's your real name? Then I can look for you in the issue.

Congratulations!  I also won a couple contests.  i won an online one, a photography one, and recently won a writing one.  The writing one made me excited, since I want to become  an author.  Speaking of which, I need to remember to finish my novel...

Anyway, good job!

Yay, congratulations! I read your poem in Cricket, and I thought, "Oh, cool poem." I won one of the poetry contests a long time ago and I think I might submit to the next one. Admin, is there going to be a photography contest soon?

Again, I really enjoyed your poem!

I think the next photography contest may be in November . . . but we never decide for sure till closer the the month.
