MiceareniceParticipantWhat are the rules for sketch? Katydid is the judge for it, I believe. Now, by sketch you guys do mean something like shading/pencil drawings?
-
ScyllaParticipantIt's sketch/drawing. You can color OR shade your drawings. HSG said at the beginning of the thread.
-
Leaf of LoveParticipantKatydid, can Sketch be faces? I love drawing faces.
-
-
AmberParticipantHere is my entry for Sketch! Hope you like it!
I apologize for the poor photography skills. Hopefully you all can see it well enough!
-
Xiaolan(Shi-ow L-ahnParticipantAmber, Katydid needs to post the rules for Sketch before you can enter.
-
Horse Spirit GirlParticipant14
All the judges that have not posted their rules for the category they are judging must post them soon.
Here are the rules for Drawing:
1) Must have color. Shading counts.
2) The theme is magical-fantasy.
3) You can do a scene or just one object/animal/human.
4) Have fun!
-
ScyllaParticipantThanks, HSG! I'm beginning my entry.
MODELING DATE IS NOW MOVED TO MARCH FIFTH. I ADVISE THAT ALL JUDGES MOVE THEIR DUE DATE TO MARCH FIFTH.

ButterflyParticipantName: I didn't give it a name when I made, it but now I guess it's called "The Horse."
Made date: I was in the third grade, age 7.
Other: I won this in the city art contest so I had to cover up personal parts.
I also don't know if this art thing will work… I've never used it before.
-
C.Ri-ming (Rer-ming)ParticipantFormerly Leaf of LoveIf Katydid isn't coming, then can someone else judge Sketch?
-
ScyllaParticipantHSG i is judging. Hey, HSG, I just drew a picture of a deer. It was really good and I want to enter it, even though it's not fantasy or magical. Please let me!
-
Horse Spirit GirlParticipantScylla, how about you enter that in Repertoire?
-
ScyllaParticipantWhy? I drew it specifically FOR the Drawing contest field! But whatever. It's probably got better chances in Repertoire. Let me go finish it up…
-
Abigail S.Participant11
Nose In a BookWait, how can she enter that in Repitoire if she drew it recently? I was under the impression that that category was intended for older art. It's not fair to those of us entering old pieces from, like, 2nd grade to compete against Scylla NOW.

-
-
ButterflyParticipantI will be entering in drawing/ sketch, BTW. I'll post it either later today or tomorrow.
-
MiceareniceParticipant???
Doing ArtThis is called 'The Dragon Alga'. I made it this year in January.
-
Lan-hua (Lahn-hwah)ParticipantFormerly Leaf of LoveThat is amazing, Micearenice!!! I'm so jealous! I want to learn from you!
You are so good!
-
-
MiceareniceParticipantThanks! (I forgot to say, that was my entry for Repertoire.)
-
MiceareniceParticipantActually, I think my picture is too recent to be Repertoire. So, maybe it can be my picture for drawing/sketch? Unless my Drawing/Sketch entry has to be drawn soley for the Drawing/Sketch slot…
If the dragon gets removed from repertoire, it's okay with me 'cause I have an older picture I can use. Then I can draw a new picture for drawing, unless I'm allowed to enter that dragon in drawing/sketch instead.
Sorry about the confusion! This is what I get for trying to be careful–I feel like I jinxed myself!
-
Horse Spirit GirlParticipant14
Micearenice: First, that is an awesome drawing! Second, you can enter the dragon in Drawing because the theme is magical/fantasy. Third, you should use the older picture for Repertoire.

-
MiceareniceParticipantOh, good! Thanks, HSG!
-
-
-
ButterflyParticipantHere's my entry for sketch!
-
ButterflyParticipantSorry, it's tilted…. I can't un- tilt it…. I don't think I can..
-
Mei-xue (May-shreh)ParticipantI thought Katydid didn't post the rules for Sketch yet.
-
ButterflyParticipantSorry, I meant to say drawing.
-
-
-
ScyllaParticipantHere's my Repertoire entry. I drew a year ago for a project in Spanish class when we were learning terms for farm animals. It's called La Yegua because I was assigned a mare to draw. I covered up my signature with a sticky note. And I figured out something for Drawing. Is a goddess okay? Technically, they're magical…
