SecretWhere is everyone? Not just here, everywhere on Kyngdom. I've seen things slow down before, but never like this. Almost no one has posted in days. It's like it's been abandoned in a tragedy-of-the-commons sort of way, where everyone thought "it won't matter if I disappear for a little while, they can do without me, it'll be fine" individually and never came back and never knew anything was amiss.

RaeParticipantI think a lot of people are around exam time in school, so they are studying/resting from testing.
-
Makes senseParticipant@RaeHopefully they'll be back as soon as school stops

Avery ParticipantI gallop away from the surrounding villagers, tossing my mane and using my horn as a wand. They think it's so rare to see a unicorn now a days, and the village men chase me with ropes and axes. So now they want to cook me. Great.
I pick up the speed and pass a large building. A school for magic, it reads. Fun. I already know magic, but I'm a unicorn, so I've never taught or used it for other people. But if I could be a student, maybe I could get away from Garlinton.
Nodding my head, I quickly change to a young teenager with whispy blonde hair, freckles, a small nose and mouth but big turquoise eyes. I trust my magic to work and my appearance to appear, and the final touch is a gold rim around my pupil. Magic. I grin.
Looking over at another student, I quickly add a robe and uniform to the mix, and even decide to add another touch of books.
I then briskly walk through the gate, laughing to myself as the villagers pass me. Walking through, I enter the large gilding and go into another building to find an older lady.
She turns to me. "Can I help you?"
I clear my throat. Human language. "I'm new."
"What's your name, dear?"
Oh goodness. I can't say my name in the human language. So I make it up on the spot.
"My name is Avery Schull."
"Good. This way, dear," she continues.
She shows me my room and then gives me a schedule, then telling me that there is a free period right now and I can mingle with the others.
I smile and pretend to be sweet, inncocent, and ignorant to magic.
I then walk through the halls and to the restroom, where the mirror reveals my spell to have worked. I'm guessing by my height I'm…14? Im not sure, but I'm also dainty. Too dainty. I try to add another spell to make me more athletic, because I'm a unicorn who always has to run everywhere, c'mon on, but my wand seems satisfactory with how I look so I leave it and sigh, heading for the gathering area during the free period.

KaiotaParticipantFree period. Thank the ocean and the sky. I needed a break from the crowds and the noise. Life on the shore had always been different.
I head to my dorm, ducking my head when others passed me. I still wasn't used to talking to people, much less making eye contact.
I open my dorm door and head to my bed. My "room mate" was still in class, and the small room was completely quiet. I jumped into my tiny cubicle and stared at the drawings that I had tacked on the walls.
There was the ocean, the frothy waves breaking against the rock strewn shore. There was the jungle near the beach, green and full of life. There was my families hut, sheltered in between two palms. And there was Api, my little monkey.
Homesickness hit me like a force. All I wanted to do was to go back home. I didn't care about the hard work, or the constant struggle to live. It was home, and this place was strange. The magic was fun, but I missed swimming in the surf and climbing the jungle trees. I wanted to go home.

unsuspectingstrytllrParticipantAh, here we go.

I walk into the classroom. The smells of the spell trade items fill the room. I don't know why, but I feel something special today. Something extra. I don't really know about anyone in this session, but I am really glad I studied yesterday. The reason, pop quiz. Sometimes I wonder if I'm the only one who required effort to do magic. Earlier this morning, a girl named Avery seemed to preform her duplication spell with no stress. Speaking of her, she's in this session with me. She's new, so she's not required to do the pop quiz, and has spent the period playing with her wand. I decide I'll ask her where she got it. It seems really high quality. But for now, I have to concentrate.

@Avery, Kaiota,&MarkParticipantunsuspectingstrytllrHey guys, I posted. Sorry about being away. It was a very boring trip with no WiFi. If anyone else cares to join, the Dehulm Spell Trade Center accepts all species (including unicorns but I like the twist in there Averey!).
