Ashley, Saylor, and Alex rode the X bikes to the YIA facilaty, which was located in a swamp in the Everglades. (Sorry) They were greeted by a prim young woman, about 15 or so. 'Are you the transfers from Project K?'
'Yes,' Saylor said.
'Follow me.' She led them into a room where some kids were training.
Meanwhile, Lan was talking to Orcid. He had gotten a last name for Jake, and she had done some research into it. 'Lan, Jake Banner dosen't exist.'
'What? You're sure?'
'Yes. Absolutly. I think that you should watch out. He might be dangerous.'
'Ok,' Lan sighed. 'Look, I gotta get back to the gang headquarters.' He shut off the video call. When he got to the lair behind the bar, he couldn't beleive his luck. They were disscussing their next move.
'I say Desmond,' one burly man said.
'No, Tensville,' argued another.
'No, no, Manhattan.'
'Desmond.'
'Tensville.' Aheated argument did not break out. But a free-for all did. Lan stood over to the side while Rudy yelled at everyone. Finally, Desmond was settled on.
Back in the Everglades, the prim teenager had intoduced Alex, Saylor and Ashley to the kids at the YIA. All of them where friendly, except for two twins, a boy and a girl, who were very cold and eyed the new comers suspicously. For the rest of the day, th girls looked around, talking to the others. There was a girl about 12 who was very good at gymnastics. there was a tall boy who spoke in a very thick German accent. Then there were the twins. They were excellent at making you ill at ease. That night, the girls gathered in their new dorm to disscuss the susspects. over to y'all.

Saylor~
"The twins do seem suspisious," I say, flinging myself onto my bed."But they could just be upset or seem mean for their own reasons."
"But that doesn't mean they are off the suspect list," Ashley said.
Oops! I have to go now! Sorry that it was short!

StrawberriParticipantThe girls decieded to do a little more investigating before they came to any conclusions. During lunch the next day, one of the twins, the girl, slipped Alex a note. she showed it to Ashley and Saylor. It said Meet us behind the building at 10:30 tonight. 'What does it mean?' Saylor asked.
'Do you think they are on to us?' wondered Ashley.
'I don't know,' Alex replied. 'But I think that we should go. Maybe they're trying to help us.'
Unfortunatly, there happened to be a curfew at the YIA. 10 o'clock. at 10:15, the girls were ready. They walked quietly down the corridor. 'what was that?' Saylor wispered. A stern looking man was walking out of a room a little further along. Quikley, they darted back into their room. The man turned and walked in their direction. Oh, no, thought Alex. He's going to find us!
He looked around, but not seeing them, he turned, muttering to himself. 'I need to get home. These late hours are making me see things.'
The tree arrived at the meeting place without another mishap. The twins were waiting. 'We know who you are,' the boy said. 'And why you're here,' the girl added.
'well, you aren't going to stop us!' Saylor declared.
'We aren't trying to stop you. We want to help you. After all, the spies, whoever they are, they probably trust us. You, on the other hand,' the girl explained, 'you are strangers. Would you like our help?'
'well, of course we would like your help!' Ashley assured them. Saylor was still a little sceptical, but agreed to cooperate.
Meanwhile, Lan was in a much differen predicament. I mean, at least if you think that being surrounded by a bunch of gang-members who wouldn't mind throwing you off a bridge is different. Orcid was right, he thought. I shouldn't have trusted him.
It turned out that Jake had been a mole for the gang. He had been too trusting. And now, how was he supposed to get out of this?
