I feel your pain. Half the time I'm in a zoom meeting, everyone's frozen, and then like a fifth of the time I can't hear people because "<Your internet connection is unstable>" even though the wifi is fine it's the computer that's being SUPER ANNOYING!!!!

And now I am involved in a discussion about why old/malfunctioning computers are annoying. Sometimes I need to remind myself how lucky we are to have access to computers right now, annoying or not. In a different time or a different place, we would not be able to continue our education right now. We're lucky that we have the oppurtunity to attend school at all, much less attend school in the current curcumstances. We're lucky that we can use our computers/other devices to access this wonderful CB. We are so, so lucky.
On the other hand, I sympathize with you. This computer used to be my dad's, then he spilled coffee on it twice, and gave it to my sister and me. Now, the screen randomly shuts off all the time, and won't turn on unless I shut the computer (not helpful when I'm on Zoom.) Sometimes, it refuses to turn on unless it is plugged in, even when the battery is at 100%. So, I get it when you're complaining about annoying computers.
But we are still. So. Lucky.

@PygmyOwl, you're right. I agree that we're blessed to be able to have computers at all. Thank you for reminding us that frustrating computers are still a gift that we should appreciate.

Does anyone else just have these weird moments where they forget how to spell a relatively easy word? Like for example just now I was writing my NaNo story and I meant to type "repetition", but I actually typed "repetitiution". XD I'm weird.

I understand. Tell your parents how you feel. Maybe they can help you feel better. Take advantage of the time you have left in your old home in the best way you can now. ( I know this is more difficult now with Covid all around.) The more positive you can be, the easier it will be for all of you.

I have a (not on the CB) AE unicorn named Willy-Nilly. I'll probably never introduce them here, because three AEs and a CAPTCHA is plenty, but Willy-Nilly says hi to Cocoa. They rarely get to meet other unicorns.
