Well, it doesn't look like anyone else is working on a POV so:

Caleb

"Ok, how about instead of planning our attacks, we get out of here." I say.

The rest of the group agrees, and they followed me tomy car. 

"Only problem is this hunk of junk is out of gas."

Logan rolled his eyes. "You don't always need gas to power a car." He rustled in his bag. "In fact, I just so happen to have a solar battery with me." 

Logan handed the battery to me and I popped the hood of the car open. "Um, where do I put this?" Logan pointed right at a little outlet. 

"Plug it in right there." 

I plugged it in, and Ives hopped in the drivers seat to start the car. I heard a faint sound from the engine that gradually got louder.

"Hey, it's working!" 

Ives stayed in the drivers seat, Logan went in the passengers seat, and the rest of us packed in. We fit the spider in the back seat, and Dante, Crystal and I sat in the trunk with it's door open. The car started and I laid back.

Everyone else was chatting, so after a couple minutes, Crystal turned to me. "So, Caleb, what's up with you an' yer dog? You two seem to have a pretty good connection." 

I waited a couple seconds to answer. Do I really want to share how I found Dante with this person I just met? Well, I mean, they do know how to fight off Wyverns…

"Um, well, Dante and I met I think seven years ago, right when all this started. He was just a stray dog, and I was just a lonely traveler. We quickly connected."

I was about to continue my story when I noticed something strange out of the corner of my eye. 

I hate to rudely intervene in this really cool roleplay, but could I perhaps join? It's completely fine if I can't! I'm fine with just reading it, if you don't mind.

Sorry for oddly dropping by in the middle of a really cool scene!

I ended up in the back seat with Karen next to me. Collins and Devan are on the other side of her. My bulky wings are pressing into her, and I can tell she's not happy about it. I shift in my seat, trying to move my wings out of the way, but it doesn't work. Eventually I give up and stare out the window into the darkness. Then I frown. There's a – what is it? I can't see it clearly enough in the dark to know for sure. As we drive on, it gets closer, and I can see it's another mutant. An… otter, maybe, but it's hard to tell. Ives stops the car, and I'm the first out. "Hello?" I call, but the strange mutant doesn't answer. 

The others pile out and stare at them. The stranger comes forward and I can see them more clearly. He has short brown fur all over his body and rounded head. His hands look slightly webbed, but his eyes are the most striking. They're pale and distant. I recognise that look. I've only seen it once before. On an insane mutant.  

"We need to go! He's crazy!" I whisper-hiss urgently, and everyone gasps. It's too late to get everyone back in the car. He's just a few yards away. 

"Crystal, do have any more of that thing you used on the wyverns?" Caleb asks, but Crystal shakes her head.

"I don't think so, but I'll check," she says, and starts digging through her bag. I realise it'll take too long to find it, and draw my sword. The mutant attacks, but between the two of us, me and Karen disarm him. He lies unconscious on the ground. We look at each other. 

"So… what do we do with him?" I ask, and Karen shrugs.

"Let's leave him here."

"How about in the shade?" Ives interrupts. He and Collins drag the mutant to the shade of a rock overhang in the cliffs nearby.

I break the ensuing silence. "So… Okay, you know the plague? We need a cure. If we work together we'll have a better chance of finding an oasis."

Everyone stares at me, shocked.

Mutation: Sloth

Weapon(s): Bow and arrow and a few throwing knives.

Personality: Always hungry and always tired. Most likely could sleep in any situation, whatsoever. Very introverted and quiet, but can be loud. Deemed to be ‘lazy’, but actually doesn’t care for anything. Very sweet and kind and quite mature. Always has a tendency to sleep in much longer. Very smart and very observant on what’s going on around her. Whenever it’s very quiet and awkward, she yawns dramatically.

Appearance: Very long, dark brown hair with dark brown eyes that shine in any fun thing that’s happening at the time. Quite pale skin. Quite short for her age, and very lean. She hates shoes, so she never wears any. She tends to stick with any oversized top and shorts for her choice of bottoms. Large black nose and her mouth is always curved into a smile. Wears large, dark brown glasses. More humanoid. Always seen with a really bad posture, shoulders drooping. She wears a small locket around her neck, holding a picture of her unknown sister. She also sports the look of large bandaids across both of her kneecaps, and a bandaid on her cheek.

Special powers/abilities: Good intuition, very observant, great at climbing, and quite stealthy.

Background: She grew up alone, having an older sister that was unknown to her. She’s pretty distant around others, making sure that she doesn’t overstay her welcome. She grew with the habit of sleeping whenever she’s stressed or bothered. She doesn’t really talk about her background, only informing others if they might’ve seen anyone that looked like her older sister.

Other: Maybe it would be cool if someone was her unknown sister? It may be a little late to ask, but just putting it out there.
