Heh, more pet peeves 'cuz I just keep thinking of more.
This is actually just one pet peeve, because it deserves its whole own comment:
It goes like this:
1. An illustrator draws a lovely crescent moon.
2. An illustrator forgets that the dark side of the moon is still there, and draws a star right inside the curve of the crescent moon.
AAUUUGHHH IT BOTHERS ME SO MUCH! The moon is not transparent!
And now that I have pointed this out to you, you will start noticing this in SO. MANY. PLACES.
Including all of the following places that have all of of part of a star inside a crescent moon:
The flags of Algeria, Comoros, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, Mauritania, Pakistan, Tunisia, and Turkey.
Also an old Texan liscense plate (It has just a corner inside. Which is still one corner too many)
BWAHAHA, now it shall bother you as well!

I agree about the paper tags! And if you accidentally get the tag in your tea then it's wet and nasty and you have to fish it out…

– Fake pockets, again.
– When people say "I understand" but they really don't.
– When people say "sorry" way too often without meaning it.

– when I'm excited about something, and someone older and wiser comes along and says it won't work out – it's like "well, maybe it won't work out, but did you have to say so? now there's no point in doing it anymore!!"
-when I'm excited about something and other people refuse to share my enthusiasm, even if they don't actually act depressing about it
-when people are coughing repeatedly, blowing their noses, or making other repetitive sounds.8
