I believe Sine is doing art and Hawkstar is doing poetry. Cloud Bunny is probably doing writing then.

Hello, this is probably my first posting ever!!! Any way, here is my entry:
The Fox is stealthy,
It's prey doesn't know it is near.
The Wolf has a sharp nose,
It's always one step ahead.
The Owl is soundless,
Flight you can never hear.
The Racoon is a foreger,
It survives off of dumps.
The Wood Thrush is charming,
It helps me go to sleep.
And the Humans kill,
ambushing nature.

Note: The last part is not always true! I bet all of you who read this never killed a tree or ambushed nature to the point it's cruel. Some people do kill nature, but not all!

ooh, I love the bluntness of your poem, and how you contrast humans and other animals. Those are my thoughts too, I've had that opinion on humans since 2nd grade (and wasn't afraid to share it!)!
Also, I'm assuming you're new? If so, welcome to the CB! I find it a not funny that I'm welcoming someone when I myself was welcomed only about 3 weeks ago, but the CB already feels like a kind and supporting second hone and community to me, and I hope it becomes that for you, too!

Forget-me-not ~ Lovely! Short and simple, and it RHYMES! I love the fact that you wrote about an endangered animal, and my favorite line was definitely " If everyone steps in to help fight/ Then we can help end their plight" a very good nudge : ) I enjoyed reading it!

Lemons&limes – Very good! The description of each animal is accurate, especially with humans! Where I live, people are CONSTANTLY destroying nature, and it makes me quite sad. I like how you aren't softening the truth. Very nice, my favorite part was probably the owl swooping soundlessly. I hope to read your poetry again : D

CelineBurningBright – A very true poem! I love, love how you made each think themselves rulers, the smart ones, only to point out that time conquers all. Your poem was definitely one of my favorites. My favorite was definitely, "you think you're clever? Think again" it made me giggle ; ) I always enjoy reading your poetry. Good job!

Moon Wolf – ahhhh this was AMAZING!! A real masterpiece. I love how you took all the prey and then still made the survival of the wolf (aka killing a different animal but ya know nature) to be so elegant and beautiful. I honestly never thought of it that way! I always thought, awwww, poor animal that ended up as a meal. But you definitely have given me a new point of view! I can't say my favorite part, I loved every bit of it. I love reading your poetry whenever you post, and… Ya! GREAT JOB!!

So… who decides the prompt then? Do we all do it together?? But then that doesn't really seem right…
And can we go on w/o a third judge or do we need a third judge (prob do, right? Since that's what this contest is?)? Or can someone judge two things at the same time if no one else wants to do art?
And sorry for all the questions but should we put a deadline for whoever wants to judge art to sign up? To speed things along? Or should we just wait? Bc then what if someone never responds?
