<҂3″ Lonan never said that he’d be coming with us, so why should he be the one to tell us what time we need to leave?<҂3 Crawaline said matter-of-fact-ly, looking at me through lowered eyes.
“Yeah, I know”- I muttered, tail flicking irritably- “But I said I would talk to another AE, Cassiopeia, and now we’re late!”
Further up the steps to the mansion, the front door was up ahead, and already open. I could hear a few voices carrying lightly over the breeze.
<҂3″ Oh yeah, there is already quite a few people here”<҂3 xe said, yawning slightly after xer sentence
“Mmmm, I knew it. Alright, whatever. Lets go in”

(augh it’s short because it’s kinda early, and I was up to later ladt night. I’ll try and post saturday or sunday. Definitely monday though)

|Luckily, Lyra seems to appreciate the flowers; her face lights up in that uniquely Lyra-esque way as she takes them. “–These are absolutely beautiful!–” she exclaims. “–Thank you so much.–” She takes one of the flowers and tucks it in my hair. I’m not sure if Aldebaran would say it was the most fashionable look, but her slight look of concentration, the touch of her fingers in my hair, the fact that she’s actually managed to make me flower-themed even though I’ve given up the bouquet, and above all the sweetness of the gesture, makes me want to wear violets every day of the year. I can’t think why I’ve never before given them credit for being as amazing as they are. Lyra smiles up at me, her eyes sparkling, and remarks, “–You look amazing. Of course, you were just as handsome before.–“|

|”Of course I was,” I agree teasingly, pretending to be very conceited. Then I add more honestly, “But I doubt I’m as good-looking as you are. You’re looking… beautiful. As you always do, I mean.” I make an effort to stop smiling, but I can’t seem to control my own expressions, so I give up and add, “How have you been?”

— “Oh, thanks,” I say, finishing the cookie. “I like yours, too.” I grab a small slice of her cheesecake and take a bite. “Wow, you’re a great baker.” 

∂∂ Fuchsia ∂∂

∂∂ An AE wearing overalls and a rose in her hair comes up to me. I’m in the middle of eating a piece of the peony cheesecake, which also has jelly on top (so I have to cut around the peony petals very delicately), so I don’t notice her until she speaks. “+ Hi +,” she says. “ + Your name’s Fuchsia right? I’m Willa. +”

∂∂ “Oh hi, nice to meet you! Yes, I’m Fuchsia, how’d you know?” ∂∂

-Lyra-

–“|Of course I was. But I doubt I’m as good-looking as you are. You’re looking… beautiful. As you always do, I mean.|” His radiant smile makes my heart skip a beat. “|How have you been?|“-

–“I’ve been good,” I reply, still smiling. “But even better since you’re here.” I find myself pausing to admire him for a moment, his sparkling eyes and the scent of violets. Realizing I haven’t spoken, I ask, “Have you seen any good movies or books lately?”-

>I smile at the compliment. “Thank you so much!” Right as I’m about to say more, I notice Lonan’s AEs enter. “Come join us!” I say to them.<
