Crossquill Library, Kyngdom-Celestia-
“Yes, actually,” he said. “I’d heard of it before, but I’ve never really been in this part of Kyngdom, so I’d never had a chance to see it. It’s amazing, really. How did it start? Why is it in the middle of the forest? If there’s any particular reason.”“This library was the idea of my friend, Aquila,” answered Celestia. Well, Celestia wasn’t entirely sure if Aquila could be considered her friend, but they called Celestia a “friend” and used the “friendship” to get Celestia to assist around the library. “I met her when they came across the Forest of Morrows on one of her travels, and after several years in which Aquila completed the rest of their travels, she came back for a visit and told me about how they wanted to start a library. As for why it is in the middle of a forest, Aquila wanted the library to be close to the main travel roads but still off to the side and secluded. I think they like the vibe of the forest, or something.” Celestia shrugged. “You could ask Aquila herself later.”
She gazed back at the sunlit bookshelves, then at the young man. “You can call me Celestia, by the way. What is your name? And where are you from?”
*Starlight*
A little more than a month had passed since she stopped at a village in Kyngdom, and since then, Starlight had continued her travels. When she came across northern Kyngdom and the forests around there, she thought that it would be the perfect chance to stop by the Crossquill Library, since Aquila, a fellow traveler she had met, was the librarian and founder. Starlight regularly stopped by for a book or a chat or a brief rest. She smiled when she saw the familiar cottage-style mansion tucked away in the woods, its charming architecture feeling nostalgic and like home at this point. She entered the library, with the lovely scent of books mixed with a faint whiff of coffee and tea from the cafe, and nodded at Aquila, who was behind the front desk.
“Great to see you, Starlight! Glad you decided to stop by on your travels!” Aquila exclaimed.
“It’s great to see you as well,” Starlight replied with a smile.
“Well, feel free to get a book or chat or whatever it is,” said Aquila.
Starlight nodded and went towards one of the shelves to find a book. She noticed a tall, stocky young woman, potentially a traveler, with long brown hair, who seemed new to the library – or at least since Starlight was last here.
“Hey, are you a traveler as well?” she asked.

SeadragonGuestCrossquill Library@Moon Wolf–I’m assuming that Starlight is talking to Liza; if she’s not, please forgive me.
~Liza~
“Hey, are you a traveler as well?”
This question came from a young woman, dressed somewhat similarly to Liza in traveler’s clothes, with one blue eye and one yellow eye. She had short, silvery-white hair and fairly pale skin. She appeared to be human, though Liza supposed she could be a hybrid, as so many were.
“I am,” said Liza, who lowered the book that she had found (another collection of Kyngdom myths and legends). “Do you come by here often?”
“I do,” said the traveler. “Is it your first time?”
Liza nodded. “I’ve never been here before,” she said, “but I’ve heard of the library.”
“Do you like myths and legends?” asked the traveler.
“What–Oh,” said Liza, realizing that the traveler had recognized her book. “I do.”
“I’m partial to them as well,” said the traveler.
“Mmm,” said Liza, who sensed that there might be an interesting reason behind this preference. (She had discovered that, especially when dealing with people who might not want to divulge information, silence often worked much better than asking direct questions.)
“My mother often used to tell me stories of the old Kyngdom,” continued the traveler, proving Liza right. “So I feel a sort of connection to her when I read them, I suppose.”
“My mother loved stories as well,” said Liza. “I feel the same way; sometimes it’s even as if she is reading to me herself, even though she can’t.” -

Crossquill Library, Kyngdom@Seadragon yep Starlight is talking to Liza!
*Starlight*
“I am,” she replied, lowering the book she had in her hands. “Do you come by here often?”
“I do,” Starlight replied. “Is it your first time?”
The traveler nodded. “I’ve never been here before,” she said, “but I’ve heard of the library.”
Starlight glanced at the book that the traveler was holding, and asked, “Do you like myths and legends?”
“What–Oh,” the traveler replied. “I do.”
“I’m partial to them as well,” said Starlight, recalling the times of her childhood when her mother would tell her of the grand Kyngdom legends and forgotten stories.
“Mmm.”
“My mother often used to tell me stories of the old Kyngdom,” Starlight explained. “So I feel a sort of connection to her when I read them, I suppose.”
“My mother loved stories as well,” said the traveler. “I feel the same way; sometimes it’s even as if she is reading to me herself, even though she can’t.”
“Indeed,” Starlight nodded, her mind drifting briefly to a memory of her mother’s warm voice telling Starlight about the origin story of their kind—homo lupus—and the vivid words her mother used to describe Lupine Island, the land from the tale. So much so that Starlight longed to one day see it for herself…maybe one day.
“I don’t think I caught your name,” she added. “What is your name?” -
ThalorwinGuest“Hello, I’m Ondriel, in my home town, Dawnrechin, there is a mystical pheonix that is the absolute craze. I think everyone from Crossquil should check it out. Thanks!”

“What is your name?” asked the traveler.
Liza hesitated just a bit before deciding to give a reply. The traveler seemed nice, and she could probably get her name in return. Liza didn’t like to give out personal information freely, since she didn’t completely trust total strangers (and who in Kyngdom would, in these times?). She always preferred an even trade.
“My name is Liza,” she said. “And what’s yours?”
“Starlight,” the traveler replied.
“What’s your favorite myth?” asked Liza. She liked to learn things about people, although she always made sure that the questions she asked were ones she didn’t mind answering herself.
“I’ve always loved the origin stories of the different hybrids,” said Starlight. “I think my favorite is homo lupus. My mother always used such beautiful descriptions when she talked about Lupine Island. And yours?”
“My favorites are the tales of how the cities were founded,” said Liza. “I think my most favorite is the one about Mer, which is where I grew up, but I love them all.”
“How could one not?” asked Starlight. “All the myths of this land are so beautiful.”
“Indeed,” agreed Liza. -
PoinsettiaGuestWhen Zara entered the cafe, someone asked her if she would like anything to eat or drink. It was a kind offer, and Zara ordered a couple of cupcakes and a cup of warm chocolate-flavored coffee, then sat down by the window. The fragrant scent of her food made her feel comforted and happy.
A few other guests were in the cafe, and she watched them thoughtfully as she sipped and ate. What could she do next? She drew her tiny weatherbeaten notebook and pencil out of the pocket of her dress and scribbled a few thoughts there – things like which items of food she could bring back from the cafe for her father and brothers. They didn’t have much to eat, and this lovely cafe was a treasure trove of good food. It would help them enormously on their journey through Kyngdom, she thought.

“My name is Liza,” she said. “And what’s yours?”
“Starlight,” Starlight replied.
“What’s your favorite myth?” Liza asked.

“My favorites are the tales of how the cities were founded,” replied Liza. “I think my most favorite is the one about Mer, which is where I grew up, but I love them all.”
“How could one not?” asked Starlight, smiling as she recalled one of the stories. “All the myths of this land are so beautiful.”
“Indeed,” agreed Liza.
She subconsciously found her hand drifting towards one of the books on a nearby shelf. It was a book about the many different places of Kyngdom worth visiting. “Are you planning on traveling anywhere in particular?” Starlight asked Liza. -
ThalorwinGuestName: Coraluna
Pronouns: she/her/hers
Species: Nymph
Personality: bold, easy to talk to, funny
Appearance: pretty, long, blond hair, green eyes, freckles, wearing a long white dress
Background: came from the same city as Ondrin, Luminosity, was a tree nymph, then a lumber cut her tree down
Other: age eternal*Ondrin*
I met Coraluna on the way to the library, she was nice, but confusing. When we get to the library, we start a convorsation.
“So, Coraluna, I heard you got your tree cut down before you came here.”
“Yep, that’s right.”
“Can I call you Luna, for short? I think you should be a water nymph instead. You know? Because your name is Coraluna?”
“You can call me Luna if you would like.”*Coraluna*
Wow!! Ondrin is sooo talkative. I don’t know if I can handle talking with her.
“Well, I suppose we can go meet some people.”
We can see Liza and Starlight talking over on the other side of the library. I’m more interested in grabbing a book though.
“You know, Ondrin, I’m gonna go get a book to read. You can go talk to them by yourself.”
“Uhh, okay!”*Ondrin*
“Hiya guys!! Sorry for butting in to the conversation. I’m so interested in myths. My favorite is Hades trying to take Persephone to the Underworld. Well, I’m going to see what Ondrin is doing. Talk later?”
“Sure, I guess,” replied Starlight.
“Um, same, I suppose,” Liza said.*Coraluna*
I am so glad I got some time away from Ondrin. She’s so talkative! I’m gonna find a book about werewolves.
Coraluna finds her book about werewolves and goes to find a comfy spot to sit. She notices how thirsty she is and goes to find something to drink. She notices a little cafe inside the library.
“May I have a cup of coffee?” Coraluna, asks the person at the counter.
“That would be my pleasure,” the person reply’s.
In about 5 minutes, Coraluna has her coffee. She then sits down to read her book. She sees someone walking toward her.

“Nice name,” he said. “I’m Cearon, and I’m from…” He hesitated; Kyngdom was in a singularly turblent state just now. But then, he wasn’t anything special, and a librarian in a secluded place couldn’t have any dangerous designs, could she? And besides, she seemed nice. “The area around the Green Hills. I’ve been over most of Kyngdom, though, to be honest. Are you from the Forest of Morrows?”
