Hi, Ella! It’s nice to meet you after hearing about you for so long. Yes, the Captchas turned into Cloudflares (this is the greyish box that usually has a check mark and “Success!” in it, below the box where you type your comment) when the site changed. I once researched Cloudflare the company, and it turns out that they make things that are like Captchas but they don’t actually involve you doing any work, although the first time you use one you do have to click a button to affirm you aren’t a robot. I remember there was a thread before the site changed where people were asked to contribute things that they might want to see in an update, and one of the things that was contributed was a more dyslexia/vision-issue-friendly Captcha, so maybe it’s because of that? (The site didn’t change voluntarily; there was a security issue/software malfunction and it was shut down for a couple of months.)
Anyway, it’s good to see you! It feels kind of like meeting a celebrated alumna of a school, who everyone talks about but who graduated long before you did.
