Outskirts of the Galaxyooh the rocks at the airport is such a good idea – i live pretty close to my local airport, so that’s definitely something i’d be able to do >:D and other tourist spots in my city! :] and i hope you feel better soon, Pea Vine!! <3
also, if i recall correctly, the code response to “do you hear the crickets chirping?” is “no, there are no crickets on earth”!
hmm, maybe i’ll make some friendship bracelets or keychains in the cb colors that say “chatterbox” or “pangolin” or something…

full flower moonI dug up a previous thread that talked about something similar: https://www.cricketmagkids.com/topic/554682/
But anyways, the rocks and the bookmarks ideas sound pretty cool! I might do that if I ever have the opportunity.

Milky Way@pangolin, wow that’s great! I’ll let you know when I’ve painted the rocks! Also, thank you!😊 I’m actually starting to feel better, so I should be able to paint the rocks soon.

Creek, with nice ROCKS, moss, and other cool stufffI was thinking of some fun bookmark ideas, and these are what I came up with! Excited to see if in a year, someone ends up with one.
Okay, so this is idea uno
Text on the bookmark, Hi! This is [Blank] from the chatterbox. Come visit the site to say hi! @criketmagkids.com
1. On it, put you’re CB name and what you usually put for the age and location thingy, if anything
2. Put crickety nods to the site
3. Find a way to get the bookmark to a different library!
4. Decorate it so it’s fun!
Idea dos
Text on the bookmark “Hi! If you found this, you’re part of a chain. Take a photo, then pass this bookmark to someone new in a different place. Let’s see how far it travels!” Something along those lines.
1. Make it seem like a traveling bookmark that you are SUPPOSED to not keep
2. Leave a blank line for people to write their city or state
3. Make it durable (laminated or thick paper) so it survives travel
4. Hand it to people who are already traveling (airports, hotels, tours)
Hope you guys like the bookmark plans!!
