@Luna-Starr, realized that we both have AEs of the same name (though mine isn’t attending the party currently). I could definitely change mine though, since I think your AE was made first.

–I notice more AEs arrive. There are two that I don’t recognize, though after a bit of back and forth, it turns out that they are Daylily and Callisto, two of Luna-Starr’s returning AEs. I don’t think our CBers interacted much, though, but Moon Wolf did recall that they wrote really good poetry from time to time.–

–From the corner of my eye, I notice Eri, who looks absolutely spectacular, with (but even without) his cool hairstyle and outfit. A smile lights my face as I notice him, and I quietly slip from the current conversation to approach him. “Hey Eri! It’s so great to see you!” I exclaim.–

+I don’t see Carmen yet, so I assume that he’s preparing something for the party, though I do hope to see them soon. After I set down our ice cream bar materials along with Taurus, I do my best to join a conversation occurring among who I overhear to be Luna-Starr’s AEs talking to Crawaline and Fern.+

+I decide to approach when there is a brief break in conversation between Daylily and Crawaline as Callisto begins to interact with another AE. “Hey, I’m Rigel, Moon Wolf’s AE,” I say as an introduction, hoping I’m not interrupting rudely even though I most definitely am. I notice Daylily’s outfit, which seems amazing especially with all the silver details. “Your outfit looks stunning, Daylily,” I say with a smile. “How does it feel to return to a party after a while?”+

%As Rigel goes off to interact with other AEs, I try my best to find another AE to talk to. I see Valerian, one of Amethyst’s AEs I think, and say, “Hello! I’m Taurus, a new AE of Moon Wolf’s. How is the party so far for you?”%

*More people seem to be arriving now, about…4 or 5 AEs just came in. I see some of them greeting Crawaline, who’s standing closest to the gate. ‘Huh’ I think ‘Shouldn’t Carmen be here by now? I don’t see him yet’ I shrug. Closing my eyes and shaking my head.
“I like your shorts” I hear from beside me, I turn, blink at the AE beside me. ‘Uhm….who is this?’ I ponder raking my brain for an AE that matches the description of the one beside me. ‘Oh! I know, this must be Callisto. Ae came with Daylily….they have the same last name….could they be siblings’ I realize that I haven’t answered aers question. “Thanks” I say, softly smiling back at ae. Tilting my head, I notice the strap slung over aer shoulder. “Is that a guitar?” I ask, shoving my hands in my pockets. ” Oh! Yes” Callisto says, clutching the guitar strap a bit tighter “His name is Enrico” ae looks away.
“Wow,” I say quietly “It’s a pretty cool looking guitar” I toss my head side to side, thinking about what to say next.
“Do you, uh. Do you wanna go talk in the forest? I’m kinda having a hard time hearing you clearly with the music playing.” I gesture to the speakers “But I’d like to get to know you better, you seem nice”*

^”Gods above” I say, tapping my fingers against the steering wheel. The car’s rumbles die away as it settles into park. “I should’ve never forgotten the tarts, and then I had to back and, and now I’m late.” I exclaimed, un-buckling my self and hopping out into the hot, humid air. “I just hope I’m not the last one here” I mumble, opening the trunk to grab to cooler. Swinging it up onto my shoulder, I hurry over to the black iron gate. Fanning myself with my open hand, I nudge to gate open with my hip. Crawline was talking to some of MoonWolf’s AEs, so Rigel might go over there. Making my way towards them, and past Fern talking to another blonde AE with a guitar ‘Well, it’s nice to see he’s talking to someone’.
I set the cooler down under one of the tables, scanning the AEs over by Craw for Rigel.
Spotting her, standing by Lyra, it think. I wave calling out her name “Rigel! It’s lovely to see you I again” 😀 ^

(By the way guys, I hope Scarlet doesn’t come across as too spoiled/aloof. What can I say. She’s a diva.)

As I step out of the cab I glance around at all the other AE’s trickling in a steady procession to the back yard of the manor house that looms in front of me. I follow them from a bit of a distance, not recognizing any of the smiling faces that surround me. I can already tell that, in my floor-length gown, I’m the most dressed up AE there. ‘Ugh,’ I think, ‘Maybe Auburn was right and I should have worn something else.’
Refusing to let that make me feel self-conscious, I make my way through a gate and find myself in the middle of a group of AEs all chatting happily. I smile and move around the group, not wanting to interrupt their conversation. I weave around groups of AE’s until I reached a table stacked high with refreshments. After only a cursory glance at its contents, it becomes clear that my caterers, and the chocolate covered strawberries I had promised to supply, have not yet arrived.
An AE I don’t yet know is standing nearby. I think I heard somewhere that his CBer is InkTea. He starts waving to someone else, making the bracelets on his wrists shake. Before I lose the chance, I step slightly in front of him and offer my hand. He looks down, seemingly surprised by my sudden appearance.
“Scarlet,” I say by way of introduction, “I don’t believe we’ve met yet.”

|Lyra notices me after a second and comes over. “~Hey Eri! It’s so great to see you!~” she says, and just hearing her voice makes everything seem brighter. She’s in purple, but that’s only a part of what makes her so beautiful – maybe it’s also the way she moves, and the expression in her dark blue eyes. They’re like the quiet depth of midnight, and the way they sparkle remind me of stars.|

[“Oh, hi,” I say, happily surprised that I’m already meeting someone. “I’m Valerian, a new AE of Amethyst’s, so this is my first party. In fact, I haven’t met many other AEs at all yet, so I guess mostly I’m just excited to be here. The setup is really nice, isn’t it? Have you been enjoying it?”]

I smile to myself as Callisto drifts off with Fern. It’s good to see aer making a friend.
“Well, it’s nice to have you here,” Crawaline responds to our introductions.
“Thank you,” I say, and take a moment to look around. “It’s really lovely out here! Way better than the stuffy balls I’ve been to.”
As a talk, a girl with black hair and a pretty blue skirt approaches. +”Hi, I’m Rigel, Moon Wolf’s AE,”+ she announces. +”Your outfit looks stunning, Daylily. How does it feel to return to a party after a while?”+
“Oh, thanks so much! I love your skirt, too,” I respond. “It’s definitely a bit strange since I hardly know anyone, but at the same time, it’s kind of refreshing this way. AE culture has changed a lot, and I think I’m enjoying it.”
A tall boy with blond hair enters, grinning. ^”Rigel! It’s lovely to see you again,”^ he exclaims. I assume the two are shipped together based on their expressions and body language. Maybe they’ll want to pair off and float away. Or maybe they’ll stay in the conversation? Either way, I focus my gaze on Crawaline.
“What kinds of changes have you noticed for the AEs?” xe asks.
“There’s just more diversity in personalities, I guess? A lot of CBers had one loud AE, one shy AE, and one in between. Nothing wrong with that, of course, but there seems to be more nuance now. Plus, the venues are better,” I joke. I eye the food table and try not to feel like a pig. “Do you want to grab some snacks with me?”

|”Um… pretty well,” I say, though it’s hard to focus on answering questions when I’m really thinking about how wonderful Lyra is and how much I love her and how unbelievably amazing it is that she loves me too. “Yeah, not much going on. Even if that weren’t the case, though, this is easily the best day I’ve had since the last time we saw each other.” I return her smile, because I can’t really help it, and glance at her floral dress and the tips of her wavy hair, which looks so Lyra-ish that I almost can’t believe it. “I’m not sure why I get the feeling that your favorite color hasn’t changed,” I remark.|
