Even if that weren’t the case, though, this is easily the best day I’ve had since the last time we saw each other.|” He smiles, looking absolutely stunning when he does. His hoodie was the color of rainy afternoons in which Lyra would often find herself thinking about him, hoping to see him again, and his jeans were faded like nostalgic memories and old classic books. Something about him seemed both simple yet absolutely wonderful and perfect. “|I’m not sure why I get the feeling that your favorite color hasn’t changed,|” he remarks, gazing at the color I chose for the dress and the tips of my hair.-

–“I’m not sure where you got that idea,” I joked. “Perhaps my favorite color has changed by a shade lighter!” I glance at him. “I’m not entirely sure if that’s changed for you though, your favorite color. Has it changed?”–

%[“Oh, hi,]” Valerian says. “[I’m Valerian, a new AE of Amethyst’s, so this is my first party. In fact, I haven’t met many other AEs at all yet, so I guess mostly I’m just excited to be here. The setup is really nice, isn’t it? Have you been enjoying it?]”%

%”I have,” I reply. “It’s my first party as well, so it is pretty exciting to be here. I haven’t really met anyone yet, so I thought this would be a good chance to do that. What song did you request for the party?” I ask.%

So sorry for the wait! I’ve submitted Callisto’s part at least three times and it never went through, so I’ll try as a new post instead of as a reply and see what happens. (Also I LOVE the artists you named! Did you know Rabbitology is going to be opening for the Oh Hellos in their new tour?)
Callisto –
“I get that it might not be for everyone,” I say. I’m wiggling my fingers. Why am I doing that? What am I even saying? Maybe I’m still in shock that I said the more normal artists that I like and Fern responded with the more obscure Oh Hellos, Yaelokre and Rabbitology who I all absolutely adore. Whatever. Act cool.
*”Maybe I’d be good at a different instrument,”* he offers.
“Yeah!” I agree. “Hmm… you kind of seem like a drummer to me. Are there any instruments you’ve thought of trying?”

Daylily –
I shift around in the plastic chair, trying not to snag my dress. “Are you new to the CB? I don’t think I’ve seen you around,” Crawaline asks.
“Not new, but returning,” I explain. “Callisto and I are actually pretty new AEs for Luna-Starr. We were introduced in… 2021, I think? But Luna had several AEs before us. He’s old enough to remember four-letter CAPTCHAs.” I chuckle a little. “How long has your CBer been around?”

|”Well, I’ve suddenly gotten an affinity for purple,” I reply. “I’ve started liking blue more than I used to, though – there are so many different shades of it. And black has a certain flair. If you had to choose a second-favorite color, what would it be?”|
