just curious–what is the “CODE” part of the menu above the post text box? and what script is it, if it is useable?

ugh, I have submitted several posts now that haven’t showed up. for example, I think on here I asked what is the “CODE” bit up on the menu of the text box for posting? and if it is useable, what language does it use?

Two of your comments are showing for me here now. I hope you can see them, too. Sometimes you may have to wait awhile before a comment is posted.

Hello @admin! I was noticing a few more glitches and thought I’d better mention them in case it’s helpful to you or the webmaster.
-Sometimes when you’re typing out a post, the CAPTCHA randomly reloads even without being clicked on. It gets a circle of dots and says “Verifying…”, then goes back to the way it was before.
-Sometimes when the CAPTCHA is clicked on, it gets a red exclamation mark and says “Error”. Then it reloads.
-The “last reply” section of each forum is really refusing to adjust according to who made the last post; the “number of replies” section isn’t updating correctly either.-

I’ve been trying to go on the chatterbox site on my phone but it was asking me to login? It hasn’t done that on my computer and I don’t have an account.
Also I have a suggestion: It was really nice to be able to go to different sections (like DtE or CaC) easily from any page, but now you have to go to forums to do that. Please consider switching that back!

I’m not sure why that would happen. When I tested it on my phone, I was able to access the site and there was no login prompt. Perhaps double check you are on cricketmagkids.com without anything added to the URL. In terms of navigation, I wonder if things are displaying differently because of your browser. On the computer and on a mobile browser you should be able to access any section. On desktop if you mouse over “Forums” a drop down menu of the sections should appear. On mobile if you click on the hamburger menu on the right of the screen you should also be able to see all of the sections. If you are still unable to open the CB on mobile and unable to access any pages, let us know.

I’ve also been having trouble posting comments… some of my comments aren’t appearing and other comments are simply refusing to actually submit.

Maybe try using a different laptop/phone/whatever? Also there’s the whole thing about having to submit twice when you’re posting a reply. Hope that helps : )

My beautiful CB! Yes! I just got the magazine and saw a couple of CB posts in the letterbox. I was excited, but also my pessimistic brain told me that it was reusing old ones.

Yes, you can post pictures on Chatterbox. Look at the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) linked from the home page. But we only allow your own original artwork or photos, nothing copied from another website or other source. And no photos of people.

Hi! I’ve been getting Muse for a little while now, but I’m new to CB. I was just wondering if there’s a way to save or bookmark threads or posts so that I can find them later?

Hello Quenby, and welcome to CB!
Unfortunately, I don’t know of any methods (unless @admins know any?) though you can always use the search bar to search up posts (it may take a bit, so be patient!) or just copy the link of the thread and paste them on a document of some sort to check on later. You can also directly bookmark them into your browser if you want to in the same way you do for other websites (which if you don’t know how, click the star in the corner of the website url on top).-
Thanks Moon Wolf, and welcome Quenby! Unfortunately, I don’t know of any other way to bookmark posts or threads other than bookmarking the webpage itself in your browser or saving the links.
