Oh my gosh, welcome to why I can't do political debates, realistic writing, or essays that involve my opinion of the world around me. CAUSE TO ME, NONE OF IT EXISTS! My mind is fantasy. Well, that and history.

One of my all time favorite books is Keeper of the Lost Cities by Shannon Messenger! I adore her! It's SUCH a fantastic book, and the latest one, Exile, just came out! *runs off fangirling*

So yeah, I'm a huge fangirl.

@ Jordan- The Kane Chronicles are VERY popular in my reading class! Mostly everyone's read them except for me. Surprised

They seem like good books, especially the part about fighting Egyptian gods to save the world!

Oh, and of course we can be friends! I love friends with everybody!

I hope that you can post more great book recommendations soon- I look forward to hearing from you again.

I love fiction! It's practically my whole life. Just look at BHR's post and that's me!

A book recomendation for ya'll: The Tapestry books. I have yet to meet another person who has read them. And that is very sad, because they are amazing. I guess the later books are a bit intense, though . . . Anyway, it's about a boy who finds out he has magic in his blood and then has to save the world from the demons that threaten to take it over. His name is Max. He is awesome, just saying. So read it, so I can finally say I have a friend that has read them.

And another, because these books are my life sorce: The Sheild, the Sword, and The Crown Trilogy by Hilari Bell. They're about a prince, a bandit's daughter, and a ex-pickpocket-turned-law-clerk who have to save the kingdom from evil bandits\regents\dukes. There is a lot of political stuff, but not about this world. And The Goblin Wood Trilogy, also by Hilari Bell. They're awesome too. XD

And I could give you a million more recomendations, but I'll stop there.

I am a HUGE fan of fiction!!!

Has anyone read the Mysterious Benedict Society series by Trenton Lee Stewart? If you haven't, I highly recommend them! They are pretty long books though- more than 500 pages- but some people can read that much without any problem. However, if you want to challenge yourself to read longer books, these could be one of good places to start!

There are three books in the series: The Mysterious Benedict Society, The Perilous Journey, and The Prisoner's Dilemma. There is also another book about the person who started the Mysterious Benedict Society, called The Extraordinary Education of Nicolas Benedict. I recommend that you at least read the first book in the series before you read this book- it will help you understand the book more.

I'll post short summaries of the books on here later. If you have read any of the books, you can share your favorite characters or favorite parts- but be sure not to share too much info for those who want to start reading the series! :)

If you're interested in reading the series but have a question, post it in the comments below. I'll be glad to answer it as soon as I can!

Happy Reading! ❤

@ Corina:

How is the Shield, Sword and Crown Trilogy by Hilari Bell? It sounds really neat by your description of it.

Oh, goodness, I could go on forever about fiction!

Let's see...here are, roughly, my favorite books:

The Lord of the Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien. Have I mentioned how much I love this?

The Emily Trilogy and The Anne Series by L.M. Montgomery

The Blue Sword and The Hero and the Crown by Robin McKinley

The Tale of Despereaux and The Journey of Edward Tulane by Kate DiCamillo

Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan

All of Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

The Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis

Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

Peter Pan by J.M. Barrie

The Once and Future King by T.H. White isn't bad either, although it gets worse as it goes along because of Lancelot and Guenever and Mordred (the story's Arthurian).

I love the Kate DiCamillo books, they were soo good. I read both of them in class, and I sooo loved them. Anyone out there should totally read them in my opinion.

The Tale of Despereaux is about a little mouse who loves to read books, instead of eat them. He always is the opposite of his friends and family. You also meet a rat and a little peasant girl. They all have a happy ending and I just loved it!!!!!!

The Adventures of Edward Tulane is about a little china doll who is soo close to a little girl, and one day she loses him, so he goes on a journey all around the world. One day a littel girl sees him in a store and loves him, and her mother looks at it and realizes that it is her Edward. She buys him and loves him for the rest of her life, as does her daughter.

I also think that you should read the following books: A Wrinkle in Time, The Westing Game, Number the Stars, Tuck Everlasting, and The Hundred Dresses. Please read the summaries online; maybe youll love them. I do!!!!!!!!

Anything by John Green

The Secret Series by Pseudonymous Bosch

A Separate Peace by _________

The Harry Potter Series by J.K. Rowling

The Percy Jackson Series by Rick Riordan

The Mortal Instrument Series by Cassandra Clare

Book #1: The Mysterious Benedict Society: Four children are asked to complete a challenge that only the most intelligient and resourceful children can complete. With their brand-new friendship, will they be able to pass the most important test of all?

Book #2: The Perilous Journey:  The Mysterious Society is back with another mind-bending challenge- an international scavenger hunt designed to test their individual talents. As they face the challenge that their teacher, Mr. Benedict, has for them, they must reinforce the skills that they were taught the first time they met.

Book #3: The Prisoner's Dilemma: The children are back with yet another challenge that threatens them to force them apart away from their families, friends, and even each other. Title: Esperanza Rising

Author: Pam Munoz Ryan

Genre: Historical fiction
