Chatterbox: Blab About Books

Book Club!!!
I think it...

I think it would be really cool to have a book club on this thread, where we all read one book every 3 weeks or month or whatever you guys want and talk about it here! Please let me know if you want to join and what books you'd want to read and what time we should have to read the book. If you want you could list genres you like and we could find a book from there.

I'd love to try Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms! Or Mr. Lemoncello's Library, but since so many if you have already read it, maybe not. I also thought The Left Handed Fate and Tumbling sounded good, but my vote would be Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms.

@September, That's fine. If a book just mentions those themes, I should be fine, but if it's a main theme, I'll probably just put it down. I'm also, like Dragonrider, not comfortable with a lot of romance.

I think we're all leaning towards Cartwheeling in Thunderstorms here! Yay!

Maybe we should set a date to end voting and a day to for when we want to finish and discuss the book?

(Sorry, Biblio! I feel like I'm kind of taking over here!)

What if we set the date for ending voting September 2nd or 3rd? (Haha, September. XP)

It's okay! I was gone for the past few days and didn't do as much as I should've. Thank you for the help!

I will join, good idea!

I love every genre, but Realistic Fiction and Fantasy are my favourites.

Cool! You can look at what other people have suggested for books or suggest your own but they must be appropriate for the CB.

I suggest any books by Kate Dicamillo. Maybe books that are less known, rather than things like Harry Potter. Not that I don't love Harry Potter. And of coarse I would prefer not to read anything with Romance or heavy themes if you know what I mean.

Is it too late to join this club? I like the idea, but I don't go to the library very often so I might not be able to participate. I don't mind reading the comments on it though, so I could do that.

@Bibliophile-This is a really great idea!!!!
