Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

The NEW Ask

The NEW Ask Admin Thread!

Hi admins, I was going to ask this on the old thread but couldn't find it so here's the new one!

so my question is: how did you become admins?

Thanks, Violet (wishing myself across the world)
(Why is this so big? I just copy and pasted!)

Admin: First of all, we were not born Admins. We becoming Admins may or may not have had to do with a Lady rising out of a Lake and granting us an Admin sword to take shifts sharing. Also, we all work on Cricket magazine, and therefore cricketmagkids.com site, and therefore the Chatterbox.

And now . . .

If the phrase "I love Cricket" or "your mag rocks" or something like that has been used an average of nine times per issue, and if there were generally twelve issues a year until about 2008 and nine a year up till now (thank you, Admin) then the phrase "I love Cricket" has been used approximately 465 times as of July/August 2013.

(12 x 35) + (4 x 9) + 9 = 465

Something that was bugging me.

Heheh . . . "bugging"

The captcha says zarr.

@Admin: So, first of all, I wanted to ask what happened to a thread I submitted about an activity regarding a mall that sells everything and anything imaginable that I started on another site (and Ima, another CBer, was in on it). Did you delete it or are you considering it? If you deleted it, can I rewrite it again without directly referencing and copying content from the site I started it at, as I did?

Additionally, I have asked twice if you would please put a screenshot of the site where you review and post our comments from, and both times you have said nothing but answered other questions I have included in the same posts. Is this silent treatment regarding the request a no or a maybe, or did you just not notice?

Admin: Please link to the Muse fan page instead of copying the entire thread. See below for a photo of the page we post from.

@Admins

I was going to enter the photo contest, but when I tried to print my photo today I found out my printer is out of ink. My parents can not buy more ink tonight.  My plan was to send it in the mail tomorrow so it would get to you by Thursday. So, my question was would it be possibly to email the picture just this once. If not, that's okay, I'll just wait until the next contest.

OK, please email it to cricket@cricketmagkids.com. Put Cricket League in the subject line. But as soon as you can, please US mail a printed version of the photo to Cricket League, PO Box 300, Peru IL 61354. In the future, any queries that need a reply should be sent to cricket@cricketmagkids.com. That box is monitored regularly. Thank you.
