Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Chatterboxer Interviews (

Chatterboxer Interviews (or famous Chatterboxer of every third day) REPRISE!

So, if anyone remembers this, it was a thread that Olive started that was rather popular about a year ago, where a Chatterboxer would be chosen and after two days of answering any questions Chatterboxers asked that Chatterboxer, they would pick another Chatterboxer, repeat ad nauseum until there are no more Chatterboxers uninterviewed.  Anyway, I'm reviving it, except every third day a new Chatterboxer will be selected (if the interviewed Chatterboxer doesn't suggest a new Chatterboxer, I will choose one at random), because there are a lot of new Chatterboxers and the CaC is dominated by TCCP.  If you were interviewed in the old thread, you can still be interviewed in this one.   Anyone interested?

I choose... Joe the Stickfiddler!

1. What's your favourite colour?

2. Have you been in any plays (if so, which)?

3. What's the last book that made you feel like you wanted to throw up?

4. Please describe your toothbrush as elaborately as possible (poems optional).

5. Where's the farthest you've ever been from your hometown?

Gah! Sorry all, I haven't been paying enough attention to this thread!!!

Melody's Questions:

1) Yes, I have ridden in an airplane. At first, you feel kind of excited, when you get on, but then, as you wait and wait, you get bored. Then, finally, the plane takes off which is always really super awesome and the best seat to have is a window seat so you can look down at the houses and cars, and if you squint, people. Sometimes you wish you'd just arrive at your location, but don't forget, YOU ARE IN A CHAIR IN THE SKY!!! Try to remember that. The overal experience is good. But your ears pop.

2) Have any of your siblings ever talked about something nonstop? Now take that and multiply it by five. We could be talking about cheese at dinner and Steve would think of a way to relate it it Etho. He uses terms I don't even understand, so I just file it under "Minecraft" in my brain. I'm sorry, Steve, it's true! {Steve: Hey, I don't do it THAT much!}

3) Oh. I have been thinking for a minute and my mind is blank. Hmm. My first thought was "Giovanni" from NEW STORY THREAD in inkwell, but I don't think he does much singing. Maybe I'm thinking too hard, but I've got nothing. Does a guy name Gary sing? Because that was my second thought. Wait, do radio shows count? How about Garrison Keilor!

4) Um... I can say "Hello" "Goodbye" and "Stop" in German, and count to ten in Spanish. That's it.

5) Wait.... no?

6) Now I'm confused. If it was opposite day, you would be asking me if it wasn't opposite day, so no, and if it WASN'T opposite day, the answer would also be no, so no.

Gollum's Question:

1) THE DEAD GENTLEMAN, by Matthew Cody, though GOBLIN SECRETS and THE OWL KEEPER were really wonderful.

2) No. I don't really want any other siblings, either.

Red's Questions:

1) It's black, kind of short, with a red fabric cut so it slants down in the front with a leather cord tying to toghter at the front wrapped around it. A small, golden watch is attached to the side.

2) Oh. Hmm. Wow, there are a lot of great characters out there. I'd want someone who it would be easy to sit down and have a nice conversation with, which actually rules out alot of my favorites. I think it would acutallly be fun to meet all of the characters. Hmm. It would be cool to meet Brooke or Andrew. Those are two characters that stand out to me right now, though I think it would be hard to have a cup of tea with either of them (partially on the acounts that I don't like tea).

3) Um... bow tie noodles?

4) Puppies? I just think dogs always seem so happy!

5) Cats and dogs.

6) Okay... so maybe a year or two ago when I first subscribed there was the story with the goldfish and it was a three or four parter. I can't remember what it was called.... "The Princess and the Goldfish" maybe, but it really stood out to me for some reason. And right now I'm really excited for the next part of "Drawing from memory."

Charlotte's Questions:

1) No. I had a fish named Star, but he died. And my fish before that was murdered by my snail... don't ask.

2) Am I inside the billboard? Am I on the edge of the billboard? I'd pack
1. Some food.
2. Some more food.
3. Some clothes.
4. My hats. I think that can be different from clothes.
5. A notebook
6. Pens and pencils

3) Type. I used to prefer writing by hand, but I can type so much faster and the ideas seem to follow easier.

4) Hmm. I'd think that I would pick Matthew Cody, though I don't know, since there are so many authors out there I'd love to have lunch with.

5) I don't think I would.... I don't like window washing OR heights!

6) What WOULD I invent? A time machience, so I could see if my whole space and matter theory is right (and then, virtually, destroy the universe).

Zee Guy Viff Ze Accent's Question:

1) I'm guessing your asking if I prefer for my things to be spelled like the way you spelled it, with an accent sort of, or not. Really, it depends. If I have a character with an accent, I just tell the reader so they can imagine it, but when I'm reading it helps me picture it when they spell it out. I'm sorry, I couldn't figure out what "Spellinks" were.

Blackberry E's Questions:

1) It was good! We went to a lot of places and did a lot of stuff, and I'm glad it was over when it was over, because by then I was exhausted.

2) It depends on where I am and in what time frame. A few weeks ago it was "Per usual" and when I'm typing I often times think it's "Hmm." "I know you" was one I used about a year ago, but now I greet friends by saying "Hello, Stranger." I can't have a trademark saying because I'm all over the place, I guess.

3) I played a game called "Risk" in gym. It was miserable.

4) I'm no good around animals, even tame ones. Once there was a coyote in our backyard, but I was in the house, so I wasn't in any real danger. Steve called it a "Deer fox."

5) Once Steve's hand was somehow slimy and really disgusting for some reason. I called him "The Candleman" which didn't help. I usually don't touch gross things.

6) Sure!

7) Oh! Oh! I know this one! You're someone who was taken over by an evil spirt so then I had to chop your head off but then you were dead and you were kind of a nice person when you weren't possesed and everything. So that's sad.

Everine's Questions:

1) My bedroom. I'm getting tired.

2) Breakfest-- JSBach (I don't care if he's grumpy!) Lunch-- My friend from comic camp this summer. Dinner-- Reynie Muldoon!

3) Probably Matthew Cody, Richard Thompson, Jeff Smith, Scott McCloud, and Colleen Doran. Can I answer more than one person? If not, then Jeff Smith.

4) I went to three different places! Bayfield (I know I said I was in Michigan, but this was in Wisconsin) which was awesome and small, Machinac Island, which had no cars and too much fudge, and Traverse City, where I got to swim in Lak Michigan. It was really fun and Steve found he had a thing for the beach.

~Blue Fairy~'s Questions:

1) Cookie Dough or anything with chocolate.

2) Um... I enjoy Ryan Higa's videos and Neko-chan, who does speed art that I enjoy. And Doctor Puppet. I haven't watched Doctor Who (YET!) but those videos are amazing.

3) Tall for my age group, medium height for people overall.

4) Erm... I don't really know. I know Pixar is connected to Disney, but can I just say Pixar?

NatureGirl's Questions:

1) Yes! I went once in Devil's Thumb Ranch in Colorado. You could see my Grandparent's house from where we were horseback riding. It was really fun!

2) Four, depending on how you count. One was my neighbor's fish who I fishsat for a year before "Quartle" died, Stripe, my second beta, who had a white stripe on his tail who was murdered by my snail "Muppy" who also died. And Star, my other fish, pased away maybe four or five months ago.

3) I have no idea. Bookish? Not outdoorsy? I'm not, compared to them. A good artist, maybe.

Wow. These questions all were great!! Sorry I didn't answer them sooner....
