Admin, what has happened to my new thread? I viewed CaC in the mode of arranging by newest to oldest, and could not see it. It came around yesterday about sometime between 7:00 and 7:15 EST last night. Did you delete it? If so, why?
It's still in the queue, awaiting a decision from the other Admins/Editors. We're unsure about the website with those initials and can't lead CBers to sites we have no control over.
I haven't heard at all from the others today. I think they are swamped with other things. Sometimes you just have to be patient. Or maybe change your idea so there's no matching website.

What kind of qualifications/degrees did you guys have to have to get this job?
We all were hired for various other positions in Cricket's editorial department and in different years. I'm not sure if there were specific qualifications required. For myself, I sent my resume, was invited for an interview, and was offered a job. I gained experience, skills, and responsibility over time. Chatterbox was added to my responsibilities when it was started. I do have a Bachelor's degree from a liberal arts college.

So, I have a few questions for you.
1. Do you read the posts really carefully?
2. Can you recognize people's posts. Like specifically who sent it?
3. Do you Admins have shifts, or do you wait all day for a post to come in?
1.Yes, usually. However, if there are a lot of comments waiting and I'm short on time, I may skim instead of reading very thoughtfully.
2. No.
3. One of us generally covers normal office hours and the other evenings, weekends, and holidays. But we're not required to be posting comments all that time. We have other things we do, too. So sometimes comments will wait a while before we have time to review and post them.

Admin: We can't check blogs every day to make sure new content is OK, so these are a bit iffy. But we'd definitely take a look!

Do you guys get a holiday on Christmas/Christmas eve?
Our office will be closed then. However, I am able to log on and post comments from home, if I want to and have the time. I may have some time for CB on those days, but I'm not promising. Family, hometown friends, and church will take precedence. Thanks for thinking of us and asking. I will check in on our CB friends if I have time.
