Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

 Ahh! W

Ahh! Wonderful! Potential customers!

I am the Merchant, here to grant your wishes. In stock, I have a shard of Cinderella's slipper, many elephants, each the size of a grain of sand, a splinter from Sleeping Beauty's spinning wheel....

But if I told you all my wares, we'd be here until the moon fell to earth. So, tell me what you want, your deepest desires, and I will see if I have it in stock. If so, then I will see what sort of trade we can arrange.

So, darlings, do tell.

What would you want if you could have anything?

Deal. *Goes to flower* **rubs hand ower petal*

Here, fairy tear.

Now for the sand. Hmm... *Takes old shoe.* *Removes memories* *Travels to beach from a memory, and takes sprinkle of sand.*

Voila! Can I have the items now? And how much can the time slower slow down time?

Indeed. The time slower shall convert it so that one second equals one hour.

Perfect, perfect. Thank you very much.

I would be indebted to you, indeed, if you could provide for me these items:

A bonsai tree, small and well-groomed, with small curled parchments at the end of each branch. Upon opening each one you will find either a joke; riddle; advice; or a task, depending on your wish at the moment.

Also-

A statue of a dragon, made of intertwining gold and silver. When you say the magic word, the miniature dragon comes to life.

Do you have these items in stock?

I think I have what you are looking for. This bonsai even includes riddles from the Mad Hatter himself, but I'll need one of his hats for it, please. And for the beautiful dragon, I have a drakon, if that will suffice. For it, I would take a bit of wax from one of Hogwart's floating candles.

Ah, yes. That will do nicely. One moment, please . . . (Leaves) (Returns in three years, with icing in hair, covered in various items such as loose tea leaves, a mysterious green powder, owl feathers, cookie crumbs, and, oddly, parmesan.)

(Hands over a vial filled with wax, and a goofy-looking magenta velvet and green-ribbon-adorned hat)

Will that work? Please? Neither Hogwarts nor The Mad Hatter treat trespassers very nicely . . .

Yes. I am terribly sorry for your troubles, but, as you know, dreams never come easily.

Hello, Kind Merchant! I have come across this town and I have plenty in store for you! See what hides beneath my cloak? Beautiful, wonderful monster eyes. Here in this pouch are some dragon teeth.

Oh, and these? These are the beaks of a phoenix, the brightest you may ever see. No, these were not easy to get. My my, dear Merchant, you seem eager to buy some my colorful selection! Take any that you like, but for a price. No no, not money. I would like that sword, forged from the dragon king's smiths and coated with fairy magic. Yes, kind sir, look at what you want and take what you need. No need to rush; I'm in no hurry.

You have decided already? My my, fair man, you want that? Two Griffin claws? Yes, indeed, I can see why. They have a poweful charm that will spread love through everyone, but they also have a hor- Nevermind. I'm pretty sure you know already. What's that? You what to know? My dear sir, it's from a legend. I never heard it becoming true.

Now, may I have my sword? Yes, there. Don't strike a bargain with me. I know what I paid for. Thank you! Look at that sparkle! It's as beautiful as a Jimpar Flower on the wet soil of Rickaquita! But enough of my talk. I will leave you to your work. Goodbye, and may your charms last forever.

Alright, you may. I had a feeling you would want something of the sort. I will accept one fairy's gown, worn on a Midsummer's eve, please.

I would like three cats that take care of themselves, a lifetime supply of five-inch-thick fantasy books, and a invisibility potion.Laughing

I belive you would enjoy Meria, Lorman, and Katarine. They are quite self-sufficent felines. I have a cap of invisibility, if that will do, and if you use this, you will find you have access to one of the most fantastic, ginormous, libraries you will ever see. For them, I will require sand from the Sphinx, a blade of grass from a fairy ring, and a scroll from Camelot, respectively.

*walks off cooing over Pika*

After careful consideration of the many desires, the thing I find of considerable value is a four-leaf clover design made out of emerald. If you do not have this in stock, though, I will consider another option. Just let me check inside my bottomless pouch and see if I have the item you wish for in return.
