I never had an alter ego. I don't plan on ever having one. It just would be weird, having to lug around a silly side of me everywhere on the CB.
I think that I may know of a few of you without alter egos, correct me if I'm wrong:
Air?
Cayke?
Savvy?
Is anybuggy also like this?

Shadow and l really don't have diffrent distinguishable personalities.
I guess that's why l didn't understand it.
And while we're on the subject, l don't find it hard to keep track of to diffrent people.
It is quite nice here on Luna, (that's the moon's real name, it isn't just called the moon. Luna means "moon" in Latin) much better than Earth l think because of the lack of people.

I don't have an AE and if I did have one, I would probably end up making my posts really confusing. I might get one someday though.

I didn't think I would ever get an AE but I decided to give it a try, and if I don't like it, I'll figure out some sort of whole life vacation for Turgon to go to and send him a post card every once in a while.

Squeak is not an alter ego.
Alter egos are silly sides of yourself, and totally different than yourself. Opposites. however, Squeak is different.
He is a part of my personality. I just split my personality into two. I guess it that way, both Danie and Squeak are alter egos. None of them are real. But if you combine them, you create... Danielle P, the orginal good for goodness me.
I really liked pretending that Squeak was my twin, and it was nice to be a different person for once. When I spread the news on my birthday, that Squeak was my 'twin', I felt glad. It felt nice for people to admire two selves of me, and I didn't have to go pretending that I was the weird, humorous, crazy Danie.
No clue why people want Alter egos. But Squeak isn't real... And I don't think Danie is either. Two split people, and I can choose who I want to be.
Wish I had kept the news of Squeak not being a twin. Now, I have to be Danie, because she's my 'normal' self. She isn't. Just like Squeak. Both make up my real personality... My Danielle P. personality. Me. Dramatic, Sarcastic, funny, video gaming, unicorn loving me. A love of Warriors, a love of Harry Potter, a love of green.
Sarcastic, shy, intelligent Squeak.
Crazy, fun, gamer Danie.
So, if anyone asks if Squeak is an alter ego:

With all respect for those who have them, if I ever had an AE it wouldn't be a, hi, this is my AE. More like I'd just change my name, just because I would want to write differently.

AEs do not have to be the silly side. I am AE-less now, but I used to have Dr. Pseudonymous and Phantom of the Opera. Their purposes were to be mature.
