My school district is weird. We start Middle School in fifth grade and we start High School in ninth. Elementary is K-4. I am going into fifth grade and I am super excited/worried about it. I am excited for lockers, new teachers, etc., but I am worried about having to get up earlier.

Oh. For me I'll probably have to get up at 6 to get to school at 7:35 as I live about a mile away and I'm riding my bike there. Last year I would get up at 7:30 and the bus came at 8:30.

I usually wake up (AKA Mom comes in and wakes me up) around 6:45. I just get started on my school a little bit after that. Tuesdays I wake up earlier; at 6:30 to go to my homeschool group thing.

l don't really know why everyone's so exicted for school. l have ADHD and Synesthesia, which makes it really hard for me.

l envy you people who are homeschooled. You are lucky, not having to go to school.

Wow.....What must it be like then?

And yes, l'm kind of glad that l don't have to go to "real" school. l might have ADHD, it's never been confirmed, but it runs in the family, all my sibilings  have very short attention spans, inculding me. l don't know if l'd ever survive, in school, sitting still for that long.

And l should proably go to sleep now.....

Do you not like having synesthesia?

Hard question.

l don't exactly dislike it, as it doesn't affect my normal day-to-day life. But l do percive the world difefrently. Sometimes l just mention something, like "That paint is the color of zeros" and of course no one knows what l mean, because only l see the world that way.

It's kind of frustrating, having to explain this stuff to people, that's usually  why l don't mention that l have Synesthesia.

l'm fine with it, it's just something that l've always had to deal with.

I'm not sythesthetic, but numbers do have colors for me. When I think of a number, I think of a color, but when I think of a color I usually don't think of a number. However I think I sort of understand what synthesthesia is like. Just to let you know that 1 person might understand you.
