Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Opening different doors..

Opening different doors....

I'm not going to say I'm crying because I'm not. Nothing has happened here for a long time. I get excited if I see a post that was a day ago. Usually because there are no more recent posts that weren't made by me.  So I am opening a new door. One of sequel-writing. I will not spend as much time on here, probably just monitoring the Sea Creatures SI and writing installations to my ski lodge, if anyone even reads it anymore. So that's basically it.

Scylla climbed, dripping, out of the water, shifting into a human. She walked up the stone stepts to the door. It was an ebony door, beautifully and ornately carved, with silver swirling patterns on it. She paused on an eroded step, glancing over her shoulder at the shimmering lake. She climbed back up the weathered stairs to the door, reaching out to touch the handle. It was burning hot. Scylla clenched her jaw, blisters already appearing on her hand. She gripped the knob and turned it, pushing the door open. There was a long corridor on the other side of it. She stepped into the corridor, the blisters on her hand sticking to the door. It was hard to let go.

Sorry. I had to write that. Fantasy depiction of how it was hard for me to let go of the CB. But things happen. So bye I guess. See you on the flip side.

Hallia says onpz. That's the last CAPTCHA you'll be getting from me in a while, so enjoy it.

Okay. I am going to say this in "book form" to convey my purpose better.

As Booksy finished, Scylla stood silently by. Then she shook her head, grinning. "Booksy," she announced, "you are the most ridiculous person in all the worlds. You, being mean? You wish." She laughed, throwing her cloak down. "I am for sure staying, and I think I got one of my friends to, too, so you won't be getting rid of me for a long time yet." Booksy's eyes widened. "Why on this Earth would I want to get rid of you?" she asked in earnest. Scylla sobered, faking a glare in Booksy's direction. "It was a JOKE, dang it." She smiled again. "Who's up for getting eaten by a refrigerator?"

Okay so that's it. Also it would improve my chances of staying if people actually looked at my ski lodge because I am seriously discouraged.

Which one is your ski lodge? Is it still joinable?

It is not joinable, but I wish someone would comment on it so I could feel like I was actually writing for someone, because it seems kind of pointless to write a whole "book" with no one reading it. And I give no hints to the murderer. Just saying.

I would love to read your ski lodge, Scylla, but I don't know which one it is! Could you please tell us?

Yay!!! I'm so glad you're staying Scylla!!! To answer your question, I am reading your murder mystery story still, (even though Puck and I are both dead...:) but I would still like to find out who the murderer is! Please continue!!!

Whoa, whoa, whoa. Calm down. It is seen as "You stroll along"... I accidentally said "beardwalk" instead of "boardwalk". Forgive me!

Don't sweat over inactive CB periods. It happens.

Thanks, S.E. I think it was just the Inkwell that was inactive. Or not.

What I did upon opening this thread;

1. Read the original thing Scylla wrote.

2. Got scared.

3. Read comments saying goodbye to Scylla.

4. Got more scared.

5. Noticed dates of posts.

6. Got even more scared that I missed Scylla leaving and that I would never see a post by her again.

7. Saw shes staying!

8. Yes!

Scylla, you're one of my best friends on the CB! Never leave, please!

I am only staying because my soft heart can't bear to break yours. Especially Kittygirl. Your support means more than you know to me and I am developing a hard shell to protect myself from my sister's insults.
