Opening different doors..

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Opening different doors..

Opening different doors....

I'm not going to say I'm crying because I'm not. Nothing has happened here for a long time. I get excited if I see a post that was a day ago. Usually because there are no more recent posts that weren't made by me.  So I am opening a new door. One of sequel-writing. I will not spend as much time on here, probably just monitoring the Sea Creatures SI and writing installations to my ski lodge, if anyone even reads it anymore. So that's basically it.

Scylla climbed, dripping, out of the water, shifting into a human. She walked up the stone stepts to the door. It was an ebony door, beautifully and ornately carved, with silver swirling patterns on it. She paused on an eroded step, glancing over her shoulder at the shimmering lake. She climbed back up the weathered stairs to the door, reaching out to touch the handle. It was burning hot. Scylla clenched her jaw, blisters already appearing on her hand. She gripped the knob and turned it, pushing the door open. There was a long corridor on the other side of it. She stepped into the corridor, the blisters on her hand sticking to the door. It was hard to let go.

Sorry. I had to write that. Fantasy depiction of how it was hard for me to let go of the CB. But things happen. So bye I guess. See you on the flip side.

Hallia says onpz. That's the last CAPTCHA you'll be getting from me in a while, so enjoy it.

Sorry, I'm not allowed to send this fully functional. You'll have to put it together for yourself, but I know you know how and I also know you CAN. Hang in there, girl. We're all rooting for you.

No, Cho... This is a battle I alone have to fight. I appreciate your concern, though.

Curio, I have a hunch that you're talking about Star Wars. I never saw or read that. And so I have no clue what you're talking about. Do you want to be on the attacking team in my ski lodge? It would help a lot!

*blushes* Yeah, it is Star Wars. I'm kinda obsessed. (Okay, fine, completely obsessed.)

I meant the hugs-and-cookies thing, though. That should be fairly straightforward.

Your ski lodge is "You walk along...", right?

Thank you so much for staying! Could you tell me the name of your ski lodge so I could read it?

Yes, Curio, that is correct (actually it's You Stroll Along... But that doesn't matter.) Joss and you can be part of Team Gelato! And I finally understand what your poem Red was about.

Yay! I love gelato! (Especially salted caramel gelato)

@Scylla

Scylla, I just wanted to tell you that you aren't alone. I know how you feel when someone teases you about being on Cricket. Trust me, my little brother teases me about going on Cricket all the time. I try to shake it off, but it still hurts. They just don't understand our love of books and writing. So, I just wanted to say, hang in there. You can do it, and don't give up.
