Music and Stuff

Music and Stuff thread.

What type of music do y'all listen to?

Personally I like pop and alternative. Taylor Swift, Melanie Martinez, and Halsey are my favorite artists, and you all know who Tayior Swift is, but do we have any other Crybabies or Halsey fans on here?

Also, what instruments do you guys play?

I play guitar, trumpet, piano, and drums, but mostly guitar. I've taken lessons in all, but currently I only take guitar lessons and that's probably my favorite instrument to play.

Also, who else writes songs?

I'm sure some of you have seen my songs on YouTube, so yeah. If you haven't, they're called Optimist, Confession Song, You Can't Stop Me, Heroes, and Wishes. Well those are the ones on YouTube. My favorites are Wishes and Heroes, but everyone else like Optimist the best, probably because it's the first song I posted.

So yeah!

Byeeeee!

I prefer electronica, dubstep, and things like that. I hate electronic-remixed music with lyrics. It just adds too much together for one thing, with all the white noise, sounds, and beats going on. Although, Harder Better Faster Stronger isn't too bad. I haven't heard the other ones, so I am not so sure. But that seems like a pretty good list! If you like electronic music, I recommend looking up Approaching Nirvana. All dubstep, electronica, and things like that.

Shadow Dragon, I listen to five of those as well. The Piano Guys, Lindsey Stirling, Imagine Dragons, Coldplay, and Owl City. I also have heard of Mumford & Sons, and their music isn't too bad. Never heard of the other ones, though. You have good music tastes. Can't go wrong with dubstep.

Mumford & Son's music isn't the cleanest, language wise, so be warned, Otherwise, it's pretty good.

I despise them for exactly that reason. I like the other music you listed, though, but I don't avidly listen to it. Come to think of it, I don't really listen to anything.

Don't listen to much music? I swear I will die right here. On the spot. Music is what makes everything connect and act in perfect harmony. Unless of course (no offence to anyone) that music is metal or heavy rock.

I create the music. It flows from my fingers, but also from my heart. I don't need someone else to do it for me, I can do it for myself. But admittedly, I discovered the most beautiful vocal song ever there was (in my opinion) on this Earth: The Sound of Silence by Disturbed. It is a cover, but my sister says that it's better than the original version. I could listen to it all day long but I'd get tired of it and wouldn't like it anymore which would make me sad.

I wish I had the ability to create music by myself. I can't sing or do any instruments. I don't even know how to read basic notes, let alone how to play them. Or create my own. I've never heard of The Sound of Silence before. I don't really have a #1 favorite. It really depends on my mood.

I used to be obsessed with Coldplay, but don't really listen to them that much anymore. Did you see their half-time performance at the superbowl? I thought it was pretty good.

Ukulele? I don't play, but some kids at school do. And so does my Science teacher. It looks like a fun instrument to play.

I like pop, electronica, rock, and sometimes soul if I'm in the mood.

My favorite artists are: One Republic, Modest Mouse, and Lindsey Stirling. I also listen to a lot of Vocaloid songs. I guess Vocaloids also count as artists, (sort of). My favorite Vocaloids are Hatsune Miku, Kagamine Rin and Len, and Sonika.

I don't really play instruments, but I do like singing and mixing loops on Garage Band.

And I also write songs!

@Savvy44x: Sorry I haven't heard your songs. I'm not allowed to go on that site.
