Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

Voting for Books

Voting for Books . . .

Since we can't seem to agree, I say we vote on it.  The contestants are:
  1.  Bud, Not Buddy
  2.  The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
  3.  A Narnia book
Or Grace could just say "We are doing _" and that would be the end of it.  It IS her turn. :)

Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe

Well, I kind of don't like Narnia - sorry, no offense anyone! - and as you all know, I'm oversensitive to things like people using too many elipses, so you can imagine what I'm like with the Holocaust. By process of elimination, I vote for Bud, Not Buddy.

I vote for The Boy in the Striped Pajamas. I've read the Narnia books at least 15,000 times, and my mom meantioned at some point that The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a good book. Yet i also think that Grace should choose, unless she dosn't want to. Like Trixy said, it IS her turn.

Yeah... but I've heard it's really sad. I don't have a problem with most sad things, but sad things based around things that really happened are kind of hard for me.

I vote for THE LION THE WITCH AND THE WARDROBE.

Let us see:

Never read Bud, Not Buddy, but I've heard of it.

Not allowed to read Boy in Striped Pajamas.

So, I guess I will vote for The Voyage of the Dawn Treader or The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, since the C.O.N. are the only books on the list I've read.

I vote "Bud, not Buddy" but agree that, it being Grace's turn, she can just say that we're doing ___ and I shan't say nay. :):):)

If it's Grace's turn, I guess we should do what she says. We'll all get a turn.

Would you all hate me if I don't do this round?  I still haven't decided if I will... but if I don't, please don't get mad!!!!!  :(

I won't. I think we should be allowed to skip ones we really don't want to do.

I may be forced to skip this round, because I'm leaving in nineteen days, and I'm not aloud to read books in English at the French camp.... (:^l)

Wow.  I would NEVER survive in a place I'm not allowed to read books!!!!!  POOR YOU!!!!!!!

Sorry everyone, our internet usage is up, so I can't go on. But here. When I'm back on this is my choice:

Princess Academy. Everyone loves it, I HOPE everyone's allowed to read it, and I wouldn't mind reading it again. It's happy and sad, and I don't think it's one of those books you get really tired of. Ok?

I didn't realize anyone wasn't allowed to read The Boy in the Striped Pajamas!!! And to Lena: You should read it sometime, if you want. It has a very sad ending, but in a peaceful, meaningful kind of way.
