Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket
Hi. I exist.
I've been away for a long time, but I figured I'd check in - see how things are going, see if everyone's left because of another ‘war’, see if anyone I know’s still here, the usual.
How are you? What's happened in the six or so months of my absence? Are there still RPs, picturings, the Art Thread? Do you still remember me?
I, well.. I've been thinking about posting for a while now, but I've put it off - I can't fathom why. But I'm here now, for the time being. And I'll tell you what I was doing when I wasn't. I mostly drew a lot - it's what I did all summer, and I've improved and grown so much. I've begun to imagine a future where I'm an artist, not an author.
I know this is of little consequence, and I'm not even sure if I'll recognise this place anymore.. but I would like to say one thing - I'm back.

Welcome back, Scylla! I remember you and am sure some others do, too. Things here are going well, I'd say. Have a look around.

Yes, there are lots of RPs, thought they're mostly on Inkwell now. Yes, there are many picturings-- mostly on Pudding's Place, if I remember correctly. And once again yes, the Art Thread (I'm assuming you mean by Lap R.?) is still up and active. I think it's broken the record for number of posts! There's a lot of new artists on there. They're all sooo amazing! I think you should check it out.
Let's see, what else is new...
well, Clouded Leopard left (for the moment). Now that she's in high school, she says that she's just too busy. She still pops in from time to time though. (Probably more people have left also, but I just remember Clouded Leopard because I know her irl.)
I've also started typing a story on Inkwell. I know that seems kinda random, but it's something that's important to me. You probably don't care that much, and you may even be trying to place me right now (Starseeker... do I remember her? Is she that dragon girl? You know, one of about 6?? Something like that). But I thought I should at least say it.
And as for continuing on the chatterbox as an artist, I'd say go for it! I've seen some of your art on the Art Thread and I think it's really epic! But if you really love writing, you should do that too.
That's what I can think of that's new for now! Hope you're here to stay!

Oh, I remember you! And I still generally stay in touch with CL - I've got her video channel and stuff -
I'm definitely planning on both art and writing - I had some (in my opinion) great ideas for my book, Hidden, which finally decided to top - I'll go and check out your story when I can! Thanks for the update. :)

I'm glad you remember me! I don't always feel like a very well-known CBer, even thiugh I post a lot. Thanks for checking out my story! I'm always tryign to get new critique and new ideas from new people, and where better to find that then the Chatterbox?

I like to believe that there's really no "well-known" idea. It's more like we all exist and should appreciate each other's company? And yes, definitely. :)

I should hope so! That's a great idea, about us all being equal. And the longer I think about it, the more I see the truth in it.

Hey Scylla! How're you doing? Don't worry, RPs are still definitely a thing, and I'm pretty sure we're still using the same art posting thread as when you last were here. How's Chary and Hallia? Do they still exist?
Let's see.....Clouded Leopard left, Shadow Dragon left, Esquire of Rohan left (but her 'ghost' has been spotted, shhhh), and Clawws left. But Silverwaxwing (who now goes by 'Dr Who', correct me if I'm wrong) is back, Shoshanah is back, Will T.'s hanging around, The Riddler is back, and elementgirl changed her name to Alice.....and then changed it back. Yep. That's all I can think of in recent memory.

In regards to Chary and Hallia, I've felt disconnected from them - I've created so many characters in the past few months, and I can't really - sense them anymore? I'm sure if I spend more time here, they'll come back to me. They have a habit of doing that, you know?
Thank you for the updates! I'm sorry to see CL and SD go, but I know they'll come back eventually - at least I hope they will. (I do believe in spooks, I do I do I do -) It's good to know the others you mentioned are back! I see I'm not the only one.

Scylla! Welcome back! Yep, there are still RPs, picturings, and the art thread. I saw your drawing there, by the way, and it looks really good! You are a very talented artist! No, there haven't been any wars while you were away. Things quieted down a bit this summer, but they seem to be picking up again. How have you been? I'm so happy to see you again!
@Jarvis, it was actually Killim who changed her(?) name to Doctor Who, not Silverwaxwing. :)

SCYLLA!!!!!!!! I'm not sure if you remember me at all but I remember you and was so happy when I saw you posted. I'm so glad I came and checked the CB. Good job with improving at art, art is hard and you are amazing at it. So yeah, welcome back and I hope you stay for a while.

XD I'm not sure if you remember me, I'm that awkward little kid who joined CB ten months ago (TEN MONTHS AGO? I feel even older CB-wise!). Everyone has covered most of the important things that happened while you were away, but we all missed you so much! And I hope you're coming back to write Sylvia in Kyngdom, because that part is getting close. Aaaaaaaannd.... That's it! Welcome back, Scylla!
