Hi. I exist.
I've been away for a long time, but I figured I'd check in - see how things are going, see if everyone's left because of another ‘war’, see if anyone I know’s still here, the usual.
How are you? What's happened in the six or so months of my absence? Are there still RPs, picturings, the Art Thread? Do you still remember me?
I, well.. I've been thinking about posting for a while now, but I've put it off - I can't fathom why. But I'm here now, for the time being. And I'll tell you what I was doing when I wasn't. I mostly drew a lot - it's what I did all summer, and I've improved and grown so much. I've begun to imagine a future where I'm an artist, not an author.
I know this is of little consequence, and I'm not even sure if I'll recognise this place anymore.. but I would like to say one thing - I'm back.

Scylla, we meet again, my friend! As you said, our paths would cross once more. Mmm... all's good around here. I haven't been too active, but besides a war of which we cannot give details on, all's been smooth. New CBers as usual, and unfortunately CL and some others left. I don't recall how long you've been gone, but we have had some amazing people leave. Cho, Daisy, Gared, CL. Although I think you already knew that. Eh, who knows. *Facepalm*
Yeah, we still have all our classic things. Actually, the Art Thread was, and could still be, the biggest thread of all CB's history. Like I said, haven't been too active on here so I can't update you a ton.
How's life been going? Our lot haven't heard from you in a while! It's understandable for you only visiting, it's nice seeing you around again. Artist, huh? Well, I think I saw your work prior to your leaving. If I am right, you are fantastic! Honestly, I think either writing or art could be in your future, you are great at both. Or combine the two, that'd be great.
Besides art what else have you done? Any trips or such?

Ashlee! Hi! It's such a relief that you're still here - I was convinced that everyone I know'd left long ago, but then Joan, St, Leeli, Leafpool, and you show up on my thread and I'm just blown away - okay I'm probably not making any sense, but I'm really happy to be back.
I'm sorry to hear that so many talented people have left, it's really unfortunate -
Life is good! I haven't really done much except draw and animate - I'm animating something right now, as a matter of fact. I'm actually planning on being an animator of sorts as a career, although I haven't really done much research into it.

Cheers, hello again, Scylla! Yeah, it's a total relief to see older people on here too, kind of brings back good memories. Nope, you are making total sense, I understand the feeling.
Yeah, shame those people left, but I hope someday they'll decide to come back to visit, as you did.
Brilliant! I had no idea you enjoyed animating as well. What program do you use? I did a bit of animating, but nothing super fancy. In fact, I'd love to learn Blender! If I remember correctly, animation is actually a growing degree according to BLS. I could be wrong, but I think it was growing faster than average with good pay. If you are interested, definitely something work looking into more.

I use the same programme for all my digital art - Firealpaca. I can't afford an actual animating programme, and Firealpaca's got some animation functions anyway, so it works out!
Oh, really? I'm a long way off from college, but I'll definitely look into that.

Oh, everyone says they use Firealpaca! I just looked it up and it looks fantastic *silently wishes she could be an amazing artist as well*. I had no idea it did animation as well, that is awesome! I've experimented with things like Muvizu (I think they shut down), and Blender, but nothing super fancy.
Yep, at least, I believe so! I am... well, quite close to college, so I looked into a few things like that. Still pretty clueless though xD

Gosh, this is turning into the happiest thread I've ever seen! Is it going to be like this around Valentine's day 2019, but even happier? I'm so happy that everyone's happy! Scylla's happy! Joan's happy! St.'s happy! This is making me so ecstastically (I think I spelled that wrong but who cares) happy! AAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! *Bursts into flames*
