So, we haven't had one of these in a while, but They're really fun and I miss them. So, I'm bringing this back! Yay! So, this works just like the drawing contest, there's a judge, me, for the first round, who picks a theme and a set date for the photos to be due. Then once the entries are in, they judge, and whoever wins is the next judge!
The rules are:
1. Stick to the theme, please!
2. No pictures of people.
3. Nothing inappropriate.
4. Be kind to others about their photos.
Let me know if I missed any!
The first topic/theme will be.......color! The due date will be March 30.

Hey!!! I PROMISE I haven't forgotten this, I've just been busy!
Alright, here are the results: (I tried to judge fairly, I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings...)
5th Place is.... ALEX! I loved the interesting shape of the shadow-it made my mind truly wonder 'what is this?? Is it a mushroom? Is it an arrow? An animal?!?' XD Good job. :)
4th Place is.... LA'CROSSE! :) I consider silouhettes as shadows most definitely! I loved the colors of the sky mixed in with the darkness... beautifully well done. :)
3rd Place is.... DOGGIEGIRL2010!! I loved how you were so creative with, what I assume is your own shadow. Very playful with the peace sign and all. :) Love it!
2nd Place is.... A.A.! A.A., between you and Hawthorne, it was really hard to pick. I love the different colors of grey and black, and the very simplicity of the reeds/grass (I'm assuming that was what it was) made the picture very rural. :)
And finally for 1st Place we have.... HAWTHORNE!!! Hawthorne, I LOVED how the darkness of not only the asphalt, but also of the tomato's shadow completely contrasted the bright redness of the tomato!!! And the shadow was gorgeously positioned in a place that just made my heart sigh with satisfaction, if that makes sense. Very very very well done. :)
Congrats to you all!!! You are all doing very well with your photography-I urge you to keep going and to always be watching for moments to capture! :)
