As I'm sure you can tell, it's my CBversary! I've been on the CB for four years now, which is pretty cool. I love this place so much, and everyone here. Some other people have had CBversaries this week, so happy CBversary to you guys!
It's been a crazy year for everyone, and the CB has sort of been my rock. With everything that's been happening, it's been nice to have this website and all of you to fall back on. I also started questioning my gender this year, which has been quite a journey, so thanks to everyone who's supported me during that. Everyone's kindness and acceptance has made me comfortable and brave enough to be open about my identity on the CB, and everyone who uses my pronouns helps so much. The CB has helped me love and accept myself, and I hope it's done that for other people too.
Over the years, the CB has really helped me become a better version of myself--a better writer, a better artist, a better poet, and a better person. I wouldn't be who I am today without it. Everyone here inspires me so much every day.
Through the CB, I've met so many incredible people who I'm lucky to call my friends. I'm closer to some people than others, but I love every single one of you so much. I mean it. Every CBer I've met means the world to me, whether I've known you for four years or four weeks. You're what makes the CB so special, and that's what's wonderful about it.
The CB has changed a lot since I first joined, and it's been so cool to see it evolve and grow. I love everything it's been and everything it's become. There have been some times recently when I've felt out of place, like my time here is coming to an end (which is only to be expected as I get older), but then I think of everything the CB means to me and I know I can't leave. So that's my roundabout way of saying I'm not going anywhere just yet!
Okay, I told myself that I was going to keep it short and sweet this year, since I wrote a long sappy post last year, but this has turned out just as long and sappy. So long story short, I love you all so much, thanks for making these last four years so amazing! I'll also do a Q&A if anyone's interested, just for fun.

Wow, that's a really great question. I started War of Words three years ago, in seventh grade (May first, actually, I have the anniversary in my calendar). I just finished it a couple months ago, and it has changed a lot. Originally, it was supposed to be one stand-alone book. That turned into a trilogy, then I realized there was no way I could fit everything into the first book, so it became four. It's actually a rewrite of a very old story, The Last Hope, so the characters have grown so much since then, and even since the start of the rewrite. I've developed them a lot more, and they now have fully fleshed out character arcs. The story has gotten much darker as I've worked out the plot, and everything's finally connected in a way that makes sense, which is nice. It needs a lot of editing, but in the meantime I've started on the sequel! I'm excited to see where the rest of the story takes me.

I made a Katsuki Bakugo themed cake the other day! And my sister made a mother's day cake!

Happy FOURTH CBversary!! <3 That is so cool. I miss you so much and I'm sorry I've been absent so long and I haven't had a chance to catch up with you. You are so so awesome and one of the coolest friends I have. It's been so cool to see you evolve as a writer and a person. Happy (belated) birthday Quill! You are such an essential part of the CB and I honestly can't imagine it without you. I knew you for a short time on NaNo and you were one of the first posts I ever saw. Thanks for sticking with the CB for four years. My question for you before I get sappy and start sorta maybe okay definitely crying is How do you pronounce CBers? I pronounce it See-burs.
I say it C B ers. And I think I coined the word. We use C B as a shortened version of Chatterbox.
