It's my CBversary! I've been here for three years!
So I don't want to write a huge rant-y thing but I am super grateful for this place. Since 2021 I have become so much better at writing! I have roleplayed, participated in poetry contests, started a ski lodge, and more. Thank you all for supporting me along the way.
This place has also helped me grow as a person. I've discovered new interests, made a whole of friends, and gained some perspective on what kind of person I want to be. It's so great to be able to connect to people with similar interests to me! Love you all <3
Okay, if you guys want we can do the Q&A thing. You can also take a vote because I want to do something fun to celebrate. Which would you most want to see:
- CB Ball
- Little Lost Library revival (I've tried to revive it like twice but we have yet to finish it and make it a complete, finished story. I think I'll create a vibe similar to Daydreams Cafe so it can still happen even if I'm not super active)
- Written Picturings
- Music Club (anyone can join and we take turns recommending an album, then everyone listens to it and says what they think)
And that's it! Churros and chocolate milkshakes for everyone!

Hmm, I'm not sure I remember exactly how I chose it! I know I wanted something pretty and I've always loved the night sky. I felt like it kind of went with periwinkle and now that I think of it sometimes in the summer the sky can sort of be a periwinkle color before it gets very dark. Sorry that's not a particularly satisfying answer; I've had this location all these years and now don't remember exactly how I came up with it.

PERIII oh my gosh happy cbversary Peri!! i'm so happy you're a part of the cb - you're so kind and thoughtful, and i appreciate your advice so much. you've brought so much to the cb - make a friend, care packages, your incredible ski lodge, your iconic aes (i love chai sm lol), your kindness and genuineness. i'm honored to call you a friend - one of my first friends on the cb, in fact (i know i always bring this up, but daydreams cafe!! you were so kind and welcoming and really helped me feel comfortable here <3). and you've recommended a ton of music and books and tv shows that i now love, so i'm really thankful for that as well! i don't know, i'm just really glad i know you! <3 *churros*
for the q&a - uhhh favorite color? besides periwinkle, i suppose :P
hmm, those all sound like great ideas and i'll definitely participate in whatever you end up doing - but let's go with music club! that sounds like a really cool idea. i always enjoy seeing what music other people like!

Ahh thank you pangolin!! You were one of my first friends on here too, and I'm so happy to know you. And yesss Daydreams Cafe!! I was so excited to RP with you and I still think about it from time to time. You were so welcoming to me when I joined and are just so friendly as a person. And I'm so happy you've enjoyed my media recs!! I'm so glad to know you as well <33
Ooh, good question! I love cool colors in general. I find green and blue really comforting, and I think purple's stylish. And yes I do love periwinkle, a combination of comforting blue and stylish purple (ultimately very enchanting)!

If LLL wins, would it be okay if I made it a non-death ski lodge rather than a Daydreams Cafe sort of thing? It still might end up being an Interactive RP Adventure, but I got a good idea for it to be a non-death ski lodge instead.

Yes, but keep in mind it still might be an interactive rp adventure, so if you weren't interested in it when I said it might be like that, you might end up disappointed!

Ahh sorry I'm late Peri! I remember when you joined and hoping that you would stick around for a while because you seemed so kind and smart and funny, and I'm so glad that you did! You're always there if anyone needs help or someone to talk to, and give genuinely very good advice. You make so many people feel better when they're not doing well (including me on countless occasions). Your ski lodge is amazing and I don't think I've ever seen the CB more invested in an OC/OC ship before; I love your writing in all forms. I'm down to do an interactive kind of RP/ski lodge thing of any kind! Happy CBversary <3333
