TNÖ Haley...

Chatterbox: Chirp at Cricket

TNÖ Haley...

TNÖ Haley...

Following Grace's introduction suggestion, because, well, at heart we're all egotistical maniacs, eh? And also because people keep asking, I figure I might as well have a place to point them rather than typing it all out again.

Let's see... TNÖ stands for "The Nearly Omnipotent", plus umlauts, and you pronounce it T-N-O. Just the letters. It originated from a letter to Muse in which I wrote as "The Nearly Omnipotent Haley", and then realized that TNO sounded pretty darn cool. Then I added umlauts because umlauts are wonderful.

My real name, of course, is Haley. Middle name is Michelle. And my last name is French (according to some people in Montreal, anyway) and begins with an F.

I like: Shakespeare, Dickens, Evanescence, Within Temptation, the Housemartins, Tin Man, Wicked, Bellatrix Lestrange, pie, Sweeney Todd, Tim Burton, Villains and Antagonists, Dracula, Cats, Hot Pink Bunnies (HPBs), SSSSs, writing, reading, House, Life (the show), Bones (the show), England, Ireland, Wales, cherries, strawberries, pomegranates, Greek and Roman mythology, fencing, Apple (the company) and the Mac, Broadway, pie, Michael Crichton, fantasy, NaNoWriMo, Les Mis, Spamalot and Monty Python in general, Phantom of the Opera, Rent (the play), Stephen Sondheim, my sword, my gecko, nationstates, Draco Malfoy, Narcissa Malfoy, MuseBlog...

I do not like: The Wizard of Oz, Harry Potter (the character), Voldy, country music, rap, stupid pointless music like what my sister listens to, the XM station Top 20, pizza, realistic fiction, stupid people, narcissists, school, Windows and Microsoft, Bill Gates, the Twilight series, James Patterson, people with nonexistent or poor senses of humor, my mother when she tries to sing, my mother when she starts yelling, my mother when she starts chattering, accidentals in music, my "friend" Lisanne, geometry, running, PE...

In my spare time: Computer, computer, computer, Sweeney Todd, computer, computer, computer, read, read, read, computer, computer, computer...

GRRR! HOW DARE YOU! Macs are the very best computers in the whole wide world. They are ahead of the competition in speed, capacity, and (of course) aesthetics... and they have great graphics and better software. At least you use Dell, which is better than HP... but Lenovo is better than Dell, and Mac is better than Lenovo...

Which L-series is it?

I thought that "Deep Space" was a joke until I read this post. I saw all these comments by TNÖ  and I was thinking what is "deep space" supposed to mean?

I live in a 7-8,000-person town in southwestern PA.

I Googled the Gorham population, and it only has 4,700 people (according to 2000; my daddy is working on the 2010 census).

My name (Kira) is Russian, Japanese, Irish, and Indonesian.

I like the Harry Potter series, the Twilight series, the Warriors series, books in general, fiction fantasy, writing, music (rock, pop), nature, full moon, Shakespeare, cats, magenta, the UK , Ireland, Switzerland, Johnny Depp's humor, Jim Carey, the Beatles, Coldplay, MIKA, melodramatic stuff, vampires, Neville Longbottom...etc.

I do not like The Wizard of Oz, nonfiction, Voldemort (French name in English book?), the Malfoys, P.E., Pre-Algebra, big dogs, kids who wear too much makeup, kids who are "popular," if you know what I mean, stereotyping...etc.

I actually live in Cardiff by the Sea, California. I put San Diego/Encinitas because not many people know where Cardiff is.

Your nickname is TNO. Mine is Q. Beat that!!! Ha ha, j.k.

Yep, I live in a small town about 1 1/2 hours from Portland in Oregon. Surprisingly many people don't know where Oregon is; in their minds California covers the entire West Coast. I have even heard of a weather report on TV with a MAP of the U.S. making that mistake!  And if it makes you feel any better, Maine was one of the first states I learned because it's in the corner of the United States!

That's weird!  If it makes you feel any better, I've always known about Oregon (my dad used to be an American studies teacher at the highschool, so I sort of have to know....). :D:D:D Yeah, it really annoys me that people (I'm telling the truth; people on my trip, this year, didn't know Maine is state; my "friend" said someone asked her what state Maine was in....  Uhhhhh...) don't know that Maine is a state.  Fortunatly, Mr. Crowley (the guy who teachs physics at my brother's school) won Survivor, last night, so some people will know....  Sigh...

Er, for people who seem confused about my town... Deep Space is a JOKE. It is NOT the name of a town. See, when we were in Spain last year, there was this 80-year-old librarian from Miami in our tour group, and when she found out we were from P-------, Wyoming, she went, "Wyoming? That place exists? I thought it was just a legend, like deep space or Atlantis." (She was joking, too.) And that popped into my head when I saw the location text box.

Thus, Deep Space.

Oh boy.  Ummmm, it was a really, really, really, really long trip (well, not that long; it was over a month, though).......  Hmmmm, let me think.....  We flew to Denver, so we drove up from there, stopping at various sights along the way...  [It was a trip of many, many historic sights and parks, which was fun for a week or so....] :):) Let's see if I can think of anything that would be in Wyoming that we saw....  Hmmm...  The historic Oregon Trail Wagon Ruts, and, ummm, oh, I remember a town name!!!!  We stayed in Cody for a few days (I have a cute shirt from the museum)!!!!!!!  But really, we went all over the state.  We used up a lot of gas on that trip.... (We went through Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, and all the other states in that area.)  I'm so happy!  I remembered a name!!!!

Cody! ...I've never been there for longer than it takes to drive through... No sports, you see, just drama, and we don't travel.

Did you guys visit Jackson, by chance?
