Wow, Kimmie!  These are GREAT pictures!!  Same with you Emily and Julia!  They are so beautiful.  I love to take pictures, though I'm not that good or anything, I just enjoy it.  My dad and I took a road trip this summer and I was the official photographer.  So now I have a lot of blurry tree and pole pictures.  ;)  But really, it's fun to capture landscapes from across the country!  I especially love taking pictures of clouds.  They change so often and are so spectacular.  I am obsessed, you might say, with my cloud pictures. :)  Maybe I'll get some to post...

They don't quite match up to your guys' pics, but I thought I'd share them.  From top to bottom: Devil's Tower, prairie dog at Devil's Tower Nat'l Monument, Moose in Teton Nat'l Park, hot air balloon above a Teton peak, a sunset in Utah.

Leaf, your photos are beautiful! When were you in the Tetons? I was there with my family this year in mid-June. We saw every kind of wildlife possible except for moose! You're lucky you got to see one.

Thanks, Admin!!  Let's see here... *checks calendar*  Okay, so we started our cross-country drive on the 13th of June and I think we got to the Tetons around June 15th.  Yes, we were just driving along and saw all these cars stopped by the side of the road.  Curious, we stopped too and saw this moose that had apparently crossed the road and was ambling into the woods.  I had to get a picture! ;)  Aren't the Tetons beautiful?  When I first saw them, they really took my breath away.  Their jagged peaks and the contrast between their blue hues and the bright white of the snow was astounding.  We had a fantastic trip! :)

@Kimberly: Thanks to you, too!  Yes, I got a bunch of pictures of the hot air balloon rising against that one peak and it was really cool.  And that sunset in Utah was so brilliant and I just found myself snapping away. :)  The clouds that night were brilliant.  Here are some more that I took:

From top to bottom: The sunset in Utah, clouds in either Minnesota or Iowa, a sunset in New Hampshire.  Enjoy!!  (Haha, Spamboy says, "mpop."  Either mop or pop or something of the like. :D)

Julia: What camera do you use? (I'm stuck with my mom's iphone)

Everyone: You can also post your pics on the Photos place on your Bell/Sympatico/Hotmail/Live account. That's what I do since I don't have one. (I do, but it's on Windows Live)

Julia, Kimmie, and Leaf:  I love all your pictures!  Almost all of them look like they could be on postcards!  What kind of photography tips would you give other people?

Thanks Allison! :) Well, I've never really given anybuggy photography tips! :) Let me think....

Make sure to read through your camera's instruction booklet! I didn't read through all of mine when I got my camera last year, and I just read it front to back this week-I found tons of settings I hadn't known about, and at the end of the book, it even gave photo taking tips! :D

Try and carry your camera with you everywhere for at least a couple of days-you'll be surprised how many photo opps. you'll find! :)

Try and make something "boring" looking really interesting in a picture. It's not that hard to do once you try it! :)
