@TNÖ: My grandmother went to Cornell and she loved it!  And my father went to Grinnell.  Agreed, small liberal arts colleges are the best.  All my friends know that Ivy League or state school are definitely off my lists (I have a tendency to say that emphatically whenever we talk about colleges, which isn't a lot, what with us only being 14, but, yeah).  I've already visited four liberal arts colleges and I'm seeing two more this summer.  What can I say?  I've just been on road trips the past two summers. :)

I will post my description thingie soon, I promise!

@Hannah/Kiwi: Tennis is my favorite sport too. I don't count archery because I think it's more of a skill then a sport.

@Robyn D: You sound almost exactly like me. I found it amusing that you are exactly an inch taller than me, being 5'4 & 1/2".

@TNO: If you were talking about Cornell in Iowa then that's the school my brother wanted to go to. Unfortunately he didn't get in.

Here is my bio:

Hi my name is Elizabeth and as every other person on here I love to read and will probably be mostly be only doing that this summer since I won't have time next year since I will be starting high school with an intense program ( If I didn't mention this previously I am homeschooled) and I willl also have a ton of other stuff going on so yeah I won't have much time for reading. Besides reading I like shopping, cooking, baking, scrapbooking, crocheting, photography, gardening, tennis, archery, birding (somewhat),cleaning( which is kind of ironic since my room is a mess and hardly ever clean), dancing (Even though I have never taken a class in my life) and I think that's it. I am currently in 8th grade and am a devout Catholic. I am 14 and will be 15 December 13th which a very long time away. When I am 15 I hope to get a driver's permit and a job. You could say that I am sort of a tomboy because I like hunting, animals which includes snakes and various wild animals such as coyotes, opossums, raccoons, and squirrels and like to do various things that most girls woudn't like to do such as cleaning and tanning a hide.( It gets really messy and smelly) The things that make me not a tomboy are that I like shopping, wearing pretty clothes, and can talk for hours about nothing in particular.  I have a dog named Willie who is a Beagle/Boxer mix, 6 chickens and one rooster named Red, four rabbits by the names of Peter, Kip, Lumpy, and Nosy, three zebra finches and one parakeet. Well this bio is getting knd of long s I will end with my favorite threads which would probably be the RP I am in in Inkwell and the HP RP in that I am also in.

Farewell all

Good idea!

My name is Amy, I'm fourteen and I live in PA (obviously).  I'm originally from New Jersey.  I'm a homeschooled eighth grader and I guess my favorite things to do are drawing, being with friends, reading, writing, playing baseball and annoying my brother.  I'm interested in pursuing art as a career.

Andy says odnn.  Does he think I'm Odin, or is he speaking in his native language, oog?

Hi, I'm Han/

I have lived in Canada all my life and just last summer I went out of Canada for my first time!!! O well, I only went down to the states.... :)  But in 18 days I get to go to New York with my dance group at school! I can't wait. In New York we get to see Radio City and Julliard School, and of course the Statue of Liberty... I am so excited !!!!!!

Anyway I like to swim, skate, dance ballet, lyrical, jazz, play the violn and clarinet, read, go online, play kickball, draw (I'm really not that good), ask questions, school!!!, shopping, work , cleaning (except my room), cooking, Looking after little kids, being bored to death (which I don't like doing). I am an only child: I don't like it but , my parents are too old to have any more kids so I'm stuck and only child plus all my cousins, aunts and uncles and grandmas live in Ontario (that's realllllly far away from Alberta).

OK, bye bye Cool

P.S. I'm Hyper !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow, I just found this. I feel faiiill. But I don't normally post on CaC, so I guess not a totall fail. Anywhoozle, to any newcomers, my name is ZB, I love reading, Harry Potter, writing, Percy Jackson, biking, Harry Potter, building, Percy Jackson, organizing, Harry Potter, and a bunch of other stuff that I don't really want to go in depth with. I'm from SoCal and have never been out of the US (sadly Frown), but have been to 5 states total. I've been on the CB for, I dunno, a year, year and a half.

Okay, I posted once and then felt like elaborating a bit more. Okayers, I shall post now! My name is Sarah, I post as ZB. I just feel like it. No spectacular reason. That I know of. I live in SoCal, and have been to Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, and was in Washington for an hour, so to me that doesn't count. I have a maps of the world, USA, CA national parks, Rome, London, and Paris, places that I might never go to but it gives me a little bit of hope. I looove reading, writing, biking, making pointless noises in an alto saxophone, and making up random words that are fun to say such as: anywhoozle, okayers, and flantasmigorigal. I can say 'Hello, my name is Sarah' in two different languages: Hola, me llamo Sarah. And Bonjour, je'mapple Sarah. Those were probably spelt horribly but I can say them. I have only lived in SoCal and am part of The Official Cricket Chatterbox Facebook Group, that wasn't the correct order of the names but I don't care. I'm 11 years old and my birthday is November 11, so this year it'll be 11/11/11 :D :D I am obssessed with Greece, ancient or modern I don't really care.

You can't say 'Hello, my name is Sarah,' in English? ;)

By the way, you spelled the Spanish version right. I can't read French.

(April 30, 2011 - 10:24 pm)

Yeah, I've been taking Spanish all my life, so I wasn't worried about spelling that one wrong. Though the correct speling for, 'Hello, my name is Sarah' in French is: Bonjour, je m'appelle est Sarah.

(May 1, 2011 - 11:14 am)

Actually, je m'appelle est Sarah is wrong. May I ask? You got it from google translate, right? Well, a lot on there is wrong because it's direct translation. Je m'appelle Sarah is perfectly correct! :)

@Elizabeth M: Exactly!  Because if you say, "Je m'appelle est Sarah," you are basically saying, "I am called is Sarah."  :)
