Presidential Inauguration

Presidential Inauguration

Who watched the inauguration on television? What did everyone think of Obama's speech? At my school, the bell schedules were all messed up because the governor of Florida requested every child have a chance to watch it, and we all had to be in a room with a TV at 12:00. I personally thought Obama's speech was really good, he's an amazing public speaker. I also think it's really neat that he was sworn in the day after Martin Luther King Jr. day.

Why are you happy that Obama won if you think Sarah Palin is great? They're 2 completely different people with completely different views!!

Yes, Julia, I think I know why you think McCain should have won. Does it have anything to do with something that happened January 22, 1973?? If so, I participated in Washington D.C. on Thursday marching against that thing that happened in 1973.

No offence, but i personally think Sarah Palin has an I.Q. of 5. I'm sorry, but I disagree with her on every issue. AND religion should play no part in politics. It shouldn't rule poeple's lives.

I watched it! It was great. The speech was a little long and I didn't understand most of it, but other than that, it was pretty fun. Wasn't it funny how they messed up the swearing-in?

Really? You think the speech was a little long? Really? Are you kidding me? (Sorry If I'm being a bit mean Lena!) He gave the shortest speech ever! (according to my grandmother) There was this one guy who gave an HOUR LONG SPEECH! Now that's long!
