Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Random Thread... Just

Random Thread... Just say anything interesting that can't fit anywhere else here.  I wonder what happened to the last one of these?

My start to this:

I'm currently designing costumes for my school's Fest show, which means I'm putting together a lot of 60s inspired outfits.  To give myself inspiration, I'm listening to the 60s Oldies Pandora station and I have decided Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is my new jam.

That sounds so cool, Melody! What's a Fest show?

I might as well add on. I've finished my NaNo novel's first draft! (I hit a rut after November ended, but kept on writing, so it took me a while.)  I'm happy about that, and can't wait to begin again on the second draft.

NaNoWriMo!!! Hooray! Good for you True, I haven't even written a chapter of my NaNo story since November and my first draft needs so much more...something! Have you seen the something anywhere around? Could you tell me what it looks like if you see it, please? By the way, I'm new (well, new to writing in the Chatterbox, I have, however, been reading it quite a bit so don't be surprised if I automatically know things about various threads (like the spamfilter, I believe that is what Cappie is? correct me if I'm wrong).....ummm, is that sentence as long and confusing to you as it looks to me?)

Cappie (I think) says "vgbh". When I looked at that quickly it looked like "uugh", is my NaNoWriMo accomplishment that bad Cappie?

It's the play for the state drama festival.

I'm auditioning for the school play next week. I'm singing Let it Go from Disney's Frozen as my chosen song. It's a big play, and it's called Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat. Has anyone seen it? I've heard it's a really good play. I'm excited but nervous to audition!

Cappie says bonn. Maybe he like bon-bon candies!

I've seen it three times over the years, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. It's a great show with lots of catchy music.

I'm auditioning for the play Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat tomorrow! So exciting but I'm really nervous!

@ Admin: We watched a little bit of the play at choir last week (on YouTube) and the whole thing is mostly singing, even the narrator is singing. I have to agree, the songs are catchy!

Right. I think the whole show is all sung . . . a folk opera.

Hooray! I got a big role in the play Joseph and the Technicolored Dreamcoat. I got one of the roles of the brothers' wives. My BFF got in the chorus, with all of the little kids.

I'm really excited! :D

Has anyone else been in Shakespeare plays?  If so, which ones?

I've been in A Midsummer Night's Dream, As You Like It and Love's Labour's Lost, as well as scenes from other plays.

I haven't yet, but I've learned some passages from King Lear and Twelfth Night against the chance that I'll audition for the Shakespeare camp this summer.

A Forty minute Verison of Two Gentlemen of Verona is the name of the play. I'm Panthino.

There's a dance at my school called TWIRP, and I didn't know what it stood for. One of my freinds and I came up with over twenty possible ideas (without any repeat words, mind you!) before someone told me it stood for The Woman Is Required to Pay. I still would like to see Timid Weasels Invigoratingly Reciting Poetry, though.
