So, I've noticed many Chatterboxers have code names, including myself. And that got me thinking. How did everyone choose their name for Chatterbox? Is it a pet's name, an idea from a book, or just an odd thing that struck you? I'd love to hear how everyone choose the name they use here!

Nina is my real life name, I am 11 years old, and I live in Florida. I use my own real life information about myself. I would have picked a code name like Jade or Jewel or Sapphire.

S.E. is my initials. Y'all know my first name is Sarah, and my last name is up for guessing.

Somehow it has escaped me that not only are our CB handles quite similar, we also share the same name.

My name is because it's Ariel's daughter's name & it has to do with an integral part of my life: music. I actually had a thread where I asked people to help me pick a name. Melody didn't win (I think Amethyst did) but I picked it anyway because I thought it sounded prettier.
My name before that was Analesia. It came from a roleplay I posted as Annalesa Q., of all things. Even though that roleplay didn't last long, the name stuck around for a long time. I got both Annalesa and Analesia by moving around the letters in Annaliese, the name of the princess in Barbie Princess and the Pauper (I was 11). I honestly didn't like the way Analesia sounded and that's why I changed it.
My real name is Kyra. I'm one of three Kyras on here, all pronounced the same way.

Maggie is my real name. I could have chosen a pseudonym when I joined in fall of 2012, but I just didn't feel like it.

Piper C was from my own story. I ditched that one a while back, though, which was why I changed the CB name.

When I first started here I went by Hannah A., which is my real name, but I changed it to Ivy. There was no real reason besides just liking the name. Like Melody said, Ivy has become part of me. I get excited when I see something or someone has that name, the same way I would if it was my real name. I even occasionally accidentally call myself Ivy!

I get excited whenever Moss is mentioned in a book. 'Moss covered the trees' and 'She lay on a patch of moss' just get me all excited. Oh my gosh that's me! xD
