INSTANT CHAT THREAD!

INSTANT CHAT THREAD!

Those of you who have been keeping up with this thread: http://www.cricketmagkids.com/chatterbox/inkwell/node/136292?page=1 should know about the instant chat tomorrow. For everyone else, here are the details:

We will be having an instant chat tomorrow (June 25th), with the Admins uploading comments as fast as possible starting at 3 pm Central Daylight Time. It will last for "an hour or so", in their words.

I took their advice and the liberty of making this thread (almost a zeugma!), so this is the thread which we shall have our instant chat on. Don't drag it down too much, please. :)

If you want, we can start discussing what the topic of interest shall be.

I'll get on too, if that's all right.

I'm doing fabulous, everyone. Except for the last three hours I spent scrubbing bathrooms in preparation for relatives that I have to get back to. Oh well, I'm earning cash.

Yeah, I've been weeding the garden with my brother... Not fun, but like you, WritingWarrior, I am getting paid.

How much cash?

$5 for my bathroom. Unsure about the others, since they're tiny.

Heh, I said "my bathroom", I really just mean the kids' bathroom upstairs...I'm so used to calling it that. No, I don't have my own in-room bathroom. That would be pretty cool.

School is out and it's HOT. Gosh, this winter was one of the coldest. Now it's hot. New England weather changes. You get used to them. Like I went to a field trip to a college campus. There were a LOT of people with big coats and it was like 65 degrees. My friends and I had no coats on. We are used to it.

I'm in NY where it gets pretty cold in the winter, and hot in the summer. I don't do well in the cold.. even if it's 70 degrees inside. I get the goosebumps easily. And I fainted the summer before after bicycling a little too much :P

I know, right? I thought I was the only one feeling it! My hair is constantly covered in sweat and grime and every day is ninety or over...

It was an extremely cold winter! During spring break, I went south and it was like 50 degrees, and I was hot because there was pretty much an 80 degree difference in temperature. I was wearing a skirt and short sleeves, and everyone around me was wearing long sleeved clothes.
