Aliens! Does anyone

Aliens! Does anyone

Aliens! Does anyone else believe there could be life on other planets? I thought I'd bring up another controversial subject to talk about. I feel like the evolution/creation thing is getting dull. Please write in!

Since I started this part of the discussion, I should say what I think about it.  (I know this sounds like what Wendy said.)  Anyway... it's kinda hard to express what I think.  But, you know how humans don't use all of their brains, and no one knows what the part they don't use is for?  I think that we have all kinds of powers that we don't know about.  Has anyone heard of synesthesia?  My mom researched it for a book.  It's when your senses are "connected".  Letters have specific colors for some people, and so do sounds.  There's a whole bunch of other stuff about it, but what interests me the most is that people are born with it.  I have a really good memory and I remember a time when I was little and I had opened up one of my favorite books.  I remember asking why the print wasn't colored anymore.  I think this was the early synesthesia.  So, I think that there could be a part in our brains that could actually create things that we have need of (like a God).  Maybe the universe was created by a pure accident, and God was created by the first humans and has come to be very real?  I'm really not sure about this but... what do you think?
And what do you think about parallel universes?

Only 90% of your brain is in use at any given time because you're only doing one thing at that time. Each part of your brain does something special, whether it be feeling emotion or processing sensory input. You wouldn't be tasting a food and remembering a memory and doing a math problem and watching a bird, etc.  all at the same time.

So, Hannah, you're saying that God has been here since the benning of time? So before He "created" humans He just sat in heaven doing nothing? What if before he "created" humans, he was busing making aliens? Or maybe God was created by aliens?

I do think God has been here since the beginning of time, but I don't know what was going on before He created us. Maybe you should ask Him sometime...

If God made aliens, don'tcha think He would have put it in the Bible? And like I said before, aliens couldn't have made God, because then the aliens would be more powerful and higher than Him, therefore making them/it God, and not God Himself. Look in the Bible, it says no one is higher than God. (Read Isaiah 40, particularly verses 12-28.)

I doubt with every fiber of my being that the Bible's wrong, but if anyone thinks it is, (everyone's entitled to their opinion) then they might as well disregard everything I say, because the Bible is the base of all my beliefs. =)

Hey you guys, I'm not saying the Bible's wrong, I'm just putting these weird questions out there for fun, cuz nobody really, truly, completely, and totally knows the answers to the questions we ask. *sci-fi theme music plays*.  :)

My guess would be something so *cough* Mind-bogglingly wow-ful *cough* that our own puny intellects would never begin to grasp it.

we do not need to "just except" anything. Som e of us do not believe in god. I don't. I believe in a higher power, not god. I think there has to be other galexcies. and planets. other earths.

Although I believe in God, I do think there are other universes/galaxies/planets/earths.

I think there's aliens. I mean how could we (humans) be the only life forms in the universe? But I bet that they (the aliens) look totally different from anything humans could even imagine.
