Homeschooling!

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Homeschooling!

Homeschooling!

So I've seen a lot of people posting at times of day which one could not post at if one went to a conventional school, so I thought, 'Hey, there must be a lot of homeschoolers!' I knew Cayke and The Phoenix are homeschooled, but I would like to get to know all the homeschooled guys and gals. We can chat about homeschooling style (more strict, more relaxed, et cetera), curricula, our favorite things about homeschooling, and so on ad nauseam.

P.S.

Hooray for Latin words!

P.P.S.

I have now written the word 'homeschooling' so much that it has failed to look like a word. Please excuse my repetiveness.

Library science is a thing?! All right, that really makes me want to take a few classes. Do you know where you want to go?

Yep! It just means the skills that a librarian needs. I don't really know where I want to go, though Harvard of course sounds alluring. I'd have to work incredibly hard in school, but it would be worth it. I just hope that the same lady will still be Head Librarian, because the current one is awesome!

Wow, I feel so at home with all of these CBers who are homeschooled!

I also do Teaching Textbooks. (Pre Algebra), and IXL math and language arts.

I have a class every Tuesday with other homeschoolers where I am learning about Shakespeare, his plays and style, the Civil War, and Speech and Debate.

Wednesdays I have piano lessons and clarinet lessons. (Does anyone else play an instrument?)

And on Fridays, I go to a robotics class called Lego League. (Anyone else like legos?) <!--break-->

@Wren: Wow, 9 siblings? You have more than siblings than I do! (I have 7 siblings.)

@True: Of course I want to go to college! In fact, I'm considering graduating homeschool early and going to college really early. What college does everyone want to go to? I'd like to go to BYU.

Hi Cho! And everyone else! I'm homeschooled too! I love it! I've been homeschooled since fifth grade...and I still love it!! I prefer it a lot more than public school, and you have the possibilities to learn a lot more life lessons, like how to change the oil in a car or rescuing/raising a baby bird or other stuff like that.

I'm homeschooled! I've noticed lots of Cricket-readers are. This year I'm taking:

5 various classes at a school thing I go to twice a week. It's not a program like hybrid homeschooling, it's just a place for homeschoolers to take classes at. I also take lots of random classes at various places and online. I love homeschooling. I've been homeschooled my whole life, and so have all my brothers, one of which is in college.

Social is hard though, but sometimes it's good not to be surrounded all the time by people.
