Chatterbox: Down to Earth

*gasp-sobs*C

Coco and I are moving to Japan. In March. We might have to leave our dog and go to public school.

I don't want to do either. I know leaving the chickens is definetly happening, but -- I've lived in NC all my life, moving once to another house forty-five minutes away. And now we're moving to another country for three years.

@Cockle, if you see two identical twin boys with a sister about the same height as them (the family is really short) and they kids all have ash-blond hair, and one or both of the boys is wearing glasses-- well, never mind.

The boys would be so freaking scared if you approached them out of nowhere. Don't do it. XD

Although it would be hilarious to see their faces.

@Daisy. I'm going to miss you so much. It doesn't look like you're going to be able to come over for Haloween, but it does sound like I'll be able to get an email. Let's hope for the best.

*turns away sobbing*

Well, hey, at least I'll still be able to still do Cricket.

Oh my goodness I know exactly how you feel! Except, the opposite. I lived in Bolivia for 4 years and Uganda for two and a half before moving back to America when I was ten(ish). Maybe ten and a half. Whatever. Moving's really hard, but after you've accustomed to where you live it can be really cool living overseas. In Uganda we went on a camping safari on Christmas, and there were monkeys on the roof of our school :) And public school can be awesome, by the way.

Japan?!?! Wow. I did NOT see that coming. I'm very, very, VERY sorry about you dog and chickens. My parents and brothers and I adopted a little dog, and I would freak out so bad if we had to leave here. I have moved three times in my life, only twice in my memory, but it's always been within an hour of the old house, so I am reeealy not good at comforting you, I'm dreadfully sorry. I'm glad you'll still have Cricket though!

Wow...... Japan. That's so far away! I wish you luck.

I'd love to hear about what it's like there! I also caught the Peter Pan quote. (Minus, you know, the dying part)

Man, my first CB friend is moving away. Moonshadow's, I guess. Geez, I'm rambling about random stuff like I end up doing in most of my posts. I have no order or logic to anything. XD

Anyways, good luck.

(Also, are you sure that I'm judging the poetry competition? Isn't Shoshana doing that?)

WOW!!!!! I think I remeber you mentioning a possible move to Japan a few months ago, but still, WOW!!! I'm sorry that you have to move, and I hope that you get used to it quickly. Are you going to have to learn Japanese? Random fact: My friend usesd to have to move a LOT for her dad's job and I think she said she moved 7 or 8 times by the time she wa in 2nd grade. She moved to India when I was in second grade and I was super sad, and now she lives in Seattle. Anyway, Good luck, and remeber, we'll always be here for you here on the CB!

Hey Cho!

Wow...what a big move! I'm sorry if I'm writing this to you a little late, but I just saw your chirp in the magazine, and I thought I would talk to you.

I'm Japanese, and I went back to Japan last fall, and the experience was, once again, amazing. I'm so sorry you have to move away from your friends and dog, because I understand that will be hard. But remember, you'll meet lots of new people in Japan too.

If you haven't been to Japan before, let me just say it's an awesome place. A lot of people are very nice, and a few years back when I visited for my second time, I developed a few friends!

Just remember, no matter what happens, you have your friends at Cricket.

Best wishes!

~Killim
