Homeschoolers, Unite!!!!! Hey,

Homeschoolers, Unite!!!!! Hey, I just want to know how many homeschoolers are out there! I am a very special breed of homeschooler called an unschooler. That means I get to learn what I want when I want how I want. IT IS PURE FREEDOM!! Anyone alse out there like me?

Cool!! Now THAT is awesome. I'm not like you, although I used to be homeschooled, but now I go to a private school. Except it's very unique also: we only go two days a week! You can take electives on Friday, but that's only if you want to. So my school is almost like homeschool.

Do you like homeschooling? I liked it, too, but I'm happy at my school because of my awesome teachers and friends. And since our school is small compared to other schools, we all know each other at least a little bit, so we're practically like a family. I don't know which is better . . . going to school 2 days or doing school in your own home whenever you want :P

I'm homeschooled also! I'm not sure if I'm technically unschooled, but homeschooling is GREAT. I love it!!! :)

YESSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!  YES!!!!!!!!!  I am a unschooler.  It is pure freedom.  We don't really have cirtain times in the day on when we do school stuff.  And sometimes you don't even do shool stuff all day.  wich is almost al the time.  So you like math!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And science!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  And you don't like putting periods down enough.  (Well thats what happens with me.)

I think that a lot of us cricket-readers are homeschoolers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  A lot of my friends use to be homeschooled.  But now they go to a public school.  Homeschoolers don't even like school.  They can't see their friends as much.  :(  *Crys*  But I do like being unsxchooled.  

I wonder what school is like...

I'm homeschooled! I'm not unschooled, but I think just plain homeschooling is fun! I've been homeschooled all my life. Has anyone else?

Hiya! I'm homeschooled. I'm definitely not unschooled, and however much freedom it is, I don't want to be. When I get to college I'm going to have to have a definite schedule, and I would rather get used to it now. Life isn't freedom, and I think that if I had that much, it would ill prepare me for the real world. :P Sorry. Not criticizing you, just saying what I think. So yeah, I'm homeschooled. And homeschooling rocks to the skies.

I'm an unschooler!!!!

Emily: I think that the way I unschool prepares me for the real world better even than schools, because with schools, the teachers do everything for you, whereas the way I do it, I have to be responsible and make sure that I get my work done every day. Weekends don't have any meaning to me, because I just do my work, and if I feel that I really need a break, I take one. I loosely take my material from textbooks, write papers on what interests me, etc., etc. I meet lots of kids because I do or have done more sports than you can shake a stick at, and act in plays here and there, so I'm not isolated. I've tried school a couple times, so I can say all these things and not be so much of a hypocrite....:):):)

I'm homeschooled, too, but not unschooled. I used to go to public school up until I started middle school. I got sick of the stress the teachers put on you... You know, all of that testing stuff. You gotta get this many points in this much time bla bla bla. It's much better being homeschooled as far as that goes. ;D

I've been unschooled all my life.  My mom does make me do two pages of math on monday.  i enjoy doing mth though.  But sometimes I get frusterated.  One thing I like about homeschooling is that you get to stay up late!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  You don't have to go to school in the morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just started homeschooling a few months ago actually. Yeah, middle school really got to me! It's funny how many people here are homeschooled and vegetarians and creative! I think that I have found heaven!
