Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Story in 3

Story in 3 Words

I've seen these all over social media! It's inspired by a memoir, but you have to create a story in three words with whatever theme you're given. For instance, you might be told to write the saddest story imaginable in three words. Or the happiest, and so forth.

So I'm going to give you guys a word, and let's see what we can come up with!

The Phrase: Write the happiest story in 3 words.

Mine: They hugged, laughing.

Have fun, guys!

Here's one of my favorites that's six words: For sale: baby shoes, never worn. I just heard this one today! But that's a sad one, so... yeah. Let's hear these happy stories!

smiling through tears

"Of course, dummy!"

I trust you.

We flew away.

His grin spread.

Has no one done this?

And more!

Barefoot in summer.

Chicks' endless peeping.

Breeze in springtime.

"Always?" "And Forever."

She flew higher.

Sunset over mountains.

Birdsong at dawn.

I love these! Here's a few more:

Discovered our friendship

It'll be forever

The ocean's tranquility

Forever best friends

I'm still here

That last one makes me cry though, because it's based shortly off of a song by Colton Dixon. It's a happy line, but ever so sad in a way too.

Have some of my three word drabbles...

All was forgiven.

Take me back...

Screaming but unheard.

Silence said everything.

I can't remember.
