Ok, I have recently become a bit of a marvel fan. I noticed a lot of other CBers love superheroes too, so this is a debate. Which one do you believe is better? Marvel or DC? Post arguments, facts, whatever you want!

Weeelllll... To almost-directly quote Tom Hiddleston here, Marvel makes thier heroes flawed, and their villains heroic. That might have been direct, not sure. But that's my reason why; MARVEL FOREVER!!!

Definitely Marvel! I'm not a huge fan of dark and gritty superhero movies, and after that (in my opinion ;) atrocity called Batman vs. Superman, I've given up on DC. Though I'm glad they're giving (finally!) a female superhero her own movie!

Actually, funny story. Me and my dad watched an episode of the new "supergirl" Tv series. ULGH IT WAS AWFUL. "SUPER GIRL?" pffft. More like SUPER BORING.

1) Kara unsleathed her powers to save her adopted sister so she wouldn't die.
2) Srsly, Wonder Woman is who you look up to? She is immortal, so she can't die and she will defeat her villians all the time. Supergirl is the one girl that protects her famliy so they won't get hurt, Wonder Woman, she left her island, she left her famliy, and turned into a super hero cuz she wanted to, Kara didnt, she wanted to save her sister, then Cat was like SUPER GIRL!!!
3) No offence Supergirl will always be my heroine, not Wonder Woman.

I must say that I prefer the Black Widow over Wonder Woman or Super Girl. She doesn't need superpowers or weapons to get stuff done, she takes out the bad guys with her bare hands.

Marvel Movies are definitely better than DC movies. I think most of you know that if you have watched the Superman vs. Batman thing... *shudders* That movie just did not work out.
However, DC has really well-done villains. Most of the villains in Marvel you don't even see that often and there is literally no personality about them.
So, I suppose what I'm saying is that DC has the better comics and Marvel has the better movies.
I'm still on Marvel's side though.... This may be because I'm not a fan of comics and I've only read a few DC comics.
Spiderman rocks by the way.

Who is everyone's favorite Marvel/DC characters? I say characters, because your favorite hero shouldn't be your favorite from the powers, but their character. Mine's Dick Grayson. How about you guys? Admins, do you have a favorite?
