You probably don't

Chatterbox: Down to Earth

You probably don't

You probably don't want to read this.

I've been holding back

For too long.

I would have something sooner

But my frustrating emotions

Keep getting in the way.

Whenever I post

It bottoms.

Not saying it's anyone's fault.

Saying I might not post

Anymore.

Whenever I talk

No one listens.

Countless comments I've made

Countless checks to see

What people have to say

Countless disappointments when no one

Has anything to say.

I'm mediocre.

Normal

Boring

I'm the main character

Of an Imagine Dragons song

"Can nobody hear me?"

Or maybe something from Echosmith

"I wish that I could

Be like the cool kids,"

Because I've never been there

And I'd want to try it out

It was me.

And I'm pretty sure you all figured that out already.

And I bet you're tired of hearing about my problems.

I try to be happy

Gets harder every time

My soul is melting

Into a puddle of disappointment on the floor

But alas,

I have no more to write.

You do realize that nearly everyone on the Chatterbox probably knows your name, right? And that's more of my uncompassionate responses. I just see a lot of you in the old threads of the Chatterbox.

First of all, I had no clue it was you. Second, Lucy B, you are a vital and integral part of the Chatterbox. If some of your posts went unnoticed, do not think you are forgotten. I consider you one of those people who stay on Cricket and keep it alive. You're really important. Just breathe, and keep posting.

Sorry if some of this came off as too blunt.
