What do you guys want to be when  you grow up?? I want to work for NASA in the area of Astro-physics, or be a scientist for the human-genome project. And, of course, and author, but who doesn't?? I also sometimes fantasize about working for the circus :D:D:D as a clown or trapeze artist, or one of those ladies that dances on the backs of running horses :D:D:D Anyhoo, I was wondering what you guys want to do when you grow up.

I don't know. I love science - engineering, medicine, biology, physics, everything, I tell you, but I also love to write. Add to that that I love to teach and love little kids and really want to have a big family when I grow up. So search me.

Wow........ I have no idea. Sometimes I think I know what I want to do, but I really don't know. Right now I think that I might want to be an entomologist, but I'm not sure.

I've been told that I should be a doctor, a scientist, a teacher, and, most commonly, a lawyer, but... yeah right. I'm definitely going to be an author (and a mother, but that's not quite a profession, per se). Lots of us want to be writers, it would appear.

I really wanna be a Graphic Designer. I love art, doing it by hand or digitaly, and I also like computers. When I was little I wanted to be an artist.

I'm not sure...I'd like to be a homeschooling mom, but yeah...I love acting, but my dad has something against theater majors...I don't really know...When I was little, I used to want to be a school bus driver, but since I've been homeschooled all my life I think it had more to do with the color of the bus than anything associated with it. :D

EVERYONE here wants to be an author, including myself.  I've had that dream since I was 6, and also since I was 6, I've been writing stories.  Surprisingly long ones for being a 6 year old!!!  (Although most of them didn't make sense... weren't very realistic.)  But being an author is kinda a side job for me.  I also want to be a marine biologist and a preschool teacher.  I LOVE under the sea and most animals.  I also want to work at the zoo! :D  I also like watching little kids.

Yeah... my kindergarten literary endeavours were basically comprised of sentences such as, "Her band is in the sand. She is mad," and stuff like that... :/

Hey, my mom works at the zoo! And also a vet clinic! Our family is big-time into animals. i have a horse, 21 goats, 2 dogs, 3 cats, 13 chickens, and a parakeet :D:D:D. And yes, everyone here wants to be an author. I'm, sadly, the only circus performer of the group...

Hey Grace, that's really cool! My brother is really into graphic design and moviemaking, so we hear all about the composition of this shot in a movie, or how cool the color scheme of that logo is. Go graphic design!

My brother was into graphic design for a while, too!! :) But now he's just more into normal art, like painting. :) Acrylics, now, but he wants to use oil (yet that's too expensive, so he's waiting). :):)

I'm not sure....throughout the years, there have been almost forty different jobs I have been interested in at one time or another. Of course, I'll always love to write, but I'm not sure if I'm super interested in becoming a published author. That doesn't mean I won't write, it just means that I won't necessarily write for a profession. I might become a chorus teacher - combining my love of singing with my like of teaching. Or an actress. Or an elementary school teacher. Or a dolphin trainer. *rambles on for several minutes* Whatever I do become, though, I would like to be a mother and also to do volunteering work.

Well...

As a first job, I would love to work in a florist shop.  I LOVE to arrange flowers, and my mom always loves them... so...

But!  I really want to design wedding gowns, as my main product line, and a few other bits of clothing.  I want to bring the cute styles back.  hee hee

And yes, of course, Author.  My dad thinks that I should only be an author, because he thinks it will provide enough money for me... he doesn't realize that that only happens if it's a best seller.  Heh.

For SOME reason, or I should say "for reasons un-know"  (I always think of a 'Killers' song when I say that)  when I was little, I wanted to be a lifeguard.  Which is stupid, because I can't even go under water.  I think I just liked the idea of saving people... plus, back then, I didn't really get that I CAN'T go under.  I guess I just thought I couldn't swim, or something.  *deep sigh*

Artist, of course.  But I guess you could classify me as that already.  I mean, I'm not good, but I do do art.  :)

I like to cook, and use to want to be a chef, but that ship has sailed.  I think I'll just cook for myself.

I sing, so I want to pursue the stage.  And I want to learn some sort of dance... and an instrument or two.

I dunno, I guess that's it.  Though I'll probably think of more when I've already hit submit.  :P

See ya!!!

Huummm, I didn't proof read.  It may be a little wonkey.  :)

Wow! It seems like everyone wants to be an author (no duh), but I agree with Allison! I love writing, but I don't think that I would do that for a living... I really want to be a 1st or 2nd grade teacher. And, I want to have a big family, but being a mom isn't exactly a profession... =)
