Chatterbox: Down to Earth

Meeting in real

Meeting in real life

Hey everyone! So, I've had something knocking around in my head for ages, and I decided to make a thread about it. I've been wanting to meet you guys in real life. We could start wearing things that let people know, like just a little badge with your CBer name on it.

What do you think?

I'm sorry, Blue Moon, but we can't support discusson of Chatterboxers meeting in real life. There has been mention in the past of wearing friendship bracelets of certain colors, but that's about all we can allow besides your city and state in the Location box.

@Alizarine; it is, and I changed it.

@XD-I saw somewhere her first language was Japanese so I just assumed she lived in Japan, whoops.

I think that it wouldn't neccesarily have to mean meeting face to face and talking, like Blue Moon said, we could wear something that lets people know who we are on the chatterbox. For example, I sometimes doodle on my hand in class, and one time, I just wrote my ideal chatterbox name on my wrist, so I think we could do something like a little badge with a cricket on it or something.

I wish there was kinda something like a Cricket-con, where we could go and meet or something along those lines. XD

Here's an idea; Conventions. Most of them are worth going to by themselves, people travel pretty far to get there.

This may have already been mentioned (I haven't read this whole thread yet), but a while back we decided upon "Chirp Chirp Cricket" as a sort of code between CBers.

How would we use the code?

I beieve you ask someone what their favorite insect is and if they respond with "Chirp chirp cricket" they're a CBer? Something ike that.

Cardinal says "xxbo".

If you ever meet a 15-year-old Southern poet with part of her hair colored rosebud pink, that's me! Especially if you're coming to this part of the country for Soda City Comic-Con, b/c I'm hoping to be there.

Instead of a badge we could do friendship bracelets with a pattern of colours?

Should I make a thread about the friendship bracelet patterns?  :)

What if... Hmmm... Trying to think of something that would actually WORK...  If we made to bracelets noticable and unique enough then it might work... OKAY 'SUP ALL OF THE DESIGNERS ON THIS THREAD LET'S GET TO WORK!!! WAIT. What if they came in sets of two, one for each wrist so that they would truly identify the CBer as a CBer because what kind of a normal person would wear two bracelets on different arms unneccesarily? *Sound of mind working*

Hey! I just read this thread... The friendship bracelet idea is cool. Or we could do like two of the same exact pattern on the ankle and the wrist? Or both on one wrist? What would the colors be? Would... *Fades off into thought*

Okay, I was at summer camp and a CIT's campname was Cricket and they introduced themselves as "Chirp chirp, I'm Cricket." (And in response we all had to say "Chirp chirp, Cricket.") SO WAS THAT ANY OF YOU IF SO IT WOULD BE SO COOL. I just realized whoever it was won't have internet access for another week, but STILL I AM VERY EXCITED.

Ok, this might be a weird question, but did this camp have any hills?

If you ever meet a 6th grade emo, aggressive poet and obsessive anime fan with brown hair that has blue streaks and wears cat ears in PA, that’s me. And if there’s a girl with longer brown hair, cat ears and mismatched clothing (including knee-highs) near her, that’s Seal.
