I wasn’t really sure what to call this thread, but I’ve had this idea floating around in my head for awhile now. Basically, anyone can post anything here. Any random thought you have, any random thing that happens to you, any random question that pops into your mind. Have fun, and don’t be afraid to be random.

i have a friend. Yes, that sounds good. But I have a few problems. First, none of my other friends like him. They think he's annoying. Second, he used to like me (and might still), and I don't like him back, so weird situation. Third, he's kind of friends with all the people I find annoying and also thinks my friends are annoying. Fourth, he uses "gay" as an insult which makes no sense whatsoever and is just bad. He will literally substitute the word gay for weird or dumb or *insert any negative adjective*. He also beats up kids and laughes about it.
You're probably thinking, "Jeez, why are you friends with this guy? He seems like a jerk." Well, he can be nice sometimes and is in all of my classes and sits near me on the bus, so i'm kind of scared he'll make my life miserable if I'm not nice and if I don't agree or pretend to agree with him. But, on the other hand, I don't want to just ignore these things. I want to stick up for what's right, but I'm also scared. Do you lizards have any advice?

Welp, I'm about to sound like my SEL teacher.
You should tell this "friend" that you don't like how he's acting. Explain it; how "gay" isn't an insult, how BEATING UP PEOPLE isn't nice (which he should know??? Like????)... if he still doesn't listen, tell a teacher or other adult. Of course, then he may get mad at you. If that happens, IGNORE HIM. Ask someone else to sit next to you on the bus/ sit next to someone else. Don't talk to him unless you have like a group project or smtn. MOVE ON!!! Sure, it may be hard, but I %100 assure you that if you have friends who make GOOD choices by instinct.

Ditch him. You don't have to be friends with him if you don't want to be. I don't mean like, straight up be rude to him, but you can probably just avoid him a little, be polite but not friendly polite, more like just 'talking to a stranger' polite.

Does anyone think curry-flavored bread would be yummy (not spicy)?
I like to make yeast bread, so on one hand I have flour, water, yeast, salt, and on the other, I have mild curry powder. If combined, would they taste good????

Yes, I think it would taste good, but be careful how much you put in! Also, maybe you should google it before just in case?

About your friend predicament, I've had a similar problem and ended up kind of botching it because I felt like I wasn't super polite to my old friend when my new friend was around. I guess my advice would be to make equal time for both of your friends, or try to get them to like each other as well. If they're friends with each other, everything could be easier. Maybe try inviting them both to hang out at the same time and starting a conversation about something they're both interested in? Anyway, I don't pretend to be an expert about friend drama but I've read a lot of middle grade novels ;)

Minecraft. It is so fun! Isn't it amazing? I mean, a whole world inside a computer! It's amazing.
School is boring, I am homeschooled, so it's not so bad, but my main subjets that i usually get something wrong in are: Math, Language Arts, Latin.
What subjects do you get the most wrong in?
